Recruit a Friend 300% exp bonus gone?Follow

Ok, I just used R-A-F. on my friends acct, and he activated it, paid time, and we got things rollin. I got my mount and free month. We can grant levels.

My issue is, I dont see the 300% EXP bonus....am I missing something here?

I highlighted my exp bar, and it just says 100% exp. Killing mobs I got same exp.

It did state '122 exp (90 bonus Recruit a friend bonus). But people are talking about getting to lvl 60 in like 20 hrs. 80 in a matter of a day. Nowhere near 300% bonus. Only quests are 300%? not mobs?

The rate im going, I'll be 80 next yr, lol

Are you in a party with him? I've never used RAF, but from wowpedia:
Quote:
Lasts for 90 days after the recruitment
Both the recruit and the recruiter can summon each other while partied. This "Summon Friend" ability has a 30-minute cooldown. The summoned character must be level 80 or below.
Both the recruit and the recruiter gain triple experience points (up to level 80) while partied and within 100 yards of each other. Unlike rested EXP, this applies to experience from quests and kills.
This does not stack with rested XP, however killing mobs and farming nodes does not consume rested XP, either.
This does stack with the 5-10% XP bonus from heirloom items, and said items can be passed between WoW accounts if they're tied to the same Battle.net account.
If both characters are not within 3 levels of each other, only the lower-level character will gain extra experience.

Edit: rereading this...

Wouldn't that mean the base experience was like 30, and you got a 300% bonus (90?). Looks like it's working as intended.

That was just an example of what the points looked like, lol. Not taken directly from kills. It was moreso 45 bonus RAF, which makes less sense. but I think I understand it now.

Have you killed anything in your entire warcraft history worth only 30 exp? lol =P

Even at level 1, a kill is worth 100++ exp.

"My feet hurt, what's wrong.?"
"Oh, your shoes must be too tight."
"I'm not wearing shoes, the fire already burned them off."
"Wait, your feet are in a fire?"
"Um, yeah, doh!"
"Don't stand in the fire!"

The devil is in the details, you've given a question, but insufficient information to allow us to provide a useful answer and when the admin posted what he could all you give is a snarky response. Possible reasons for any problem you might be having include failure to group as Locke mentioned, or something he quoted but did not bold:

If both characters are not within 3 levels of each other, only the lower-level character will gain extra experience.

On the other hand, without further information, all we can do is guess and hope you'll read the RAF FAQ. If you make sure you aren't just doin' it wrong, put in a ticket with a GM.

well, yes, I have killed mobs that gave me only 30 exp.
quite often actually.
it's not like it's a physical impossibility.

Try running random dungeons with your RAF player, thats what me and the mrs do and we usually get 3-5 lvls per run depending onthe number of quests in them. Each run takes about 20-30mins if your not rushing. We can go from lvl 15 to lvl 60 in a few hours like that! Got our prot war/resto shammy to 80 by doing each dungeon just once pretty much
