Well I am thinking about updating my mouse like the topic says, I currently have a Razer DeathAdder but I am looking to get another Razer mouse.
I would like to have more buttons to fool around with, primarily for when I'm playing WoW but it doesn't hurt to use it for other games. Any recommendations? I'd be willing to go about $70 for the actual mouse itself.

but I haven't read many reviews yet and I was wondering if any of you have this mouse and would care to elaborate or just plain up smack me in the face (please don't) for not having it (or thinking about getting it in the first place if it is bad.).

I have a Naga Molten myself and I've never had any problems with it.
I use it constantly (4-10 hours a day) and it is still going strong for nearly two years now. I've never dropped it or subjected it to extreme forces, so I can't tell you how well it stands up to rough abuse, but I don't see why any gamer needs to abuse a mouse....
As far as the buttons and their WoW Addon, it works and works well, though I don't use it anymore. I wanted to try mouse-turning, but after several long sessions I just couldn't do it. I don't know why, it just feels so... awkward and unwieldly. I wound up taking 3x as long to perform simple tasks and I didn't see all THAT much improvement in my abilities in combat.
In fact, I found that I was becoming very heavily distracted and found myself missing GCDs and forgetting abilities in rotations (Ret Paladin). I'd forget Inq, or Art of War would pop and I wouldn't notice it for several seconds, wasting half of it, etc.
I eventually forgot about it.
But while I was trying to do it, the buttons seem to work well, though I had some trouble with remembering which button is where. I found 4-6 and 7-9 easy, but 1-3 and 10-12 I'd occasionally "miss" but then that's probably just me.
The mouse was easier to use than I had anticipated, its just the mouse-turning thing that was throwing me off bigtime.
IMO, it is worth the money.
Also, the mouse is VERY sensitive if you max out your Mouse Sensitivity. Every time I sit down at mom's computer with some random $10 Wal-mart Mouse, I find myself groaning as it takes 3x the time for the mouse cursor to get from one edge of the screen to the other. The Naga really does provide excellent performance in that aspect, too.
The ergonomics are also very nice, my hand fits right on the mouse and my fingers rest just right on the mouse's left and right mouse buttons, though if you have huge hands, you might find it awkward; the mouse isn't as big as you'd expect from the pictures. It is more round and fat than a Wal*Mart mouse (Logitech and the like), but yet it is about the same legnth. I found it fits my palm perfectly.
So... anyways, my personal opinion:
9/10
I love my Naga.
Also, if you like Razer's gear.... the Banshee Headphones kick serious ***. LOVE them.
EDIT: Oh wait, there is one problem.
One teensy problem that is easily fixed if it happens. Sometimes a hair will get caught in that rubber ring around the optic sensor. If that happens, your cursor will stop moving horizontally or vertically depending on how the hair gets stuck. All you have to do is either blow at it, or use your finger to clear the hair. It is fairly rare this happens, but it does once every other week or so. No big deal really. It probably only happens because of that little rubber ring around the optic sensor that most other mice don't have.

Razer is ****. I've used three of their mice and all of them had terrible build quality (and Razer's customer support is ****, too) compared to Logitech.
Do yourself a favor and get an MX518. Best mouse on the market. Logitech is also pretty much the best brand ever for customer service and reliability.

I have a Naga (no fancy name after, it is the original looking one). I enjoy it. I don't play WoW with my hands on the keyboard at all (unless to type) so having more buttons that my right hand can push it just great. Mine game with "learning" nubs that stick to the buttons and give you a little nub/tit to learn the buttons. I have actually Super Glued mine on in a pattern so I always know what row my thumb is on.
I do not use the Razer WoW add-on, but rather Dominos for action bars (buttons) and keybinds. My Mouse is set to the NumPad.

But yea if it is something you want to get down, just go run around out in the world. Don't try and use the mouse to move (holding down both Left and Right button), until you just get the turning down.

Movement isn't the problem -- I can turn and move around just fine. Heck I even was able to strafe circles around a combat dummy flawlessly for a couple minutes.
But when it came to combat, that's where I kept bombing and bombing hard.
The old method involved my right hand on the arrow keys and the left hand running frequently-used abilities on 1 through 6 and lesser-used abilities on 7 through =.
However... mouse-moving requires you to keep your left hand on WASD just like an FPS game. Problem is, FPS games don't give you 12+ abilities you need to use frequently; you usually only need the RMB or LMB and the occasional shift, ctrl, or R keypress to do things like crouch or reload, or a spacebar to jump. I had limited success in trying to use WASD + 1-6 but I found that I kept missing GCDs and my right hand kept wanting to go over to the arrow keys anytime I needed to make a quick adjustment during combat.
So yeah. Mouse Moving = Easy.
Combat = Easy.
Mouse Moving + Combat is what trips me up.

I use a Logitech G5. With modifiers, it is plenty of click combinations. I purchased a Razor Naga, but for me, I didn't like that 12 small buttons on the left of the mouse while trying to use it for moving the cursor to various people on my grid healing frames. Some people love it though. I gave the naga to a guildy, and he uses it and loves it.
I wouldn't mind having a few more buttons, but not as many as the Naga clasic. Razor now has the Naga Hex, and that looks very interesting to me. It's a few more buttons, but spaced a bit farther apart. I may actually consider getting one of them.

Oh, hell no. What're you up to? Just put your right hand on the mouse and the left hand on WASD. Hold down RMB and move the mouse to change your direction. Use WS to move forward/backward and AD to strafe left/right (while holding RMB). With your left hand, you also have access to:
Q, E, Z, X, C, V, F, R, T
1-5
Shift
Alt
Ctrl
If you need more keybinds than that, you're playing a Hunter or Warlock (or SWTOR) and I feel your pain. Time to prioritize then.
I take it you're a keyboard turner and/or clicker trying to optimize your stuff. Trust me... stick to WASD. Anything else is clunky and by far less efficient. It'll take some time to adjust to it, and it will feel horrible for a while, but once muscle memory kicks in, you'll look back on your time caressing those arrow keys and laugh. The only time I'm not holding down RMB in MMORPGs is when I have to right-click vendors and quest givers. Or if I get an itch and have to scratch it while moving out of fire.

It's going to be hilarious how badly I get karma-bombed, but you're just bad, in this case.
I don't move my hand off of my WASD ever in PvP. With a MX518, I have 40 keybinds available to me (available to me in PvP is if I can push it in a tenth of a second in response to something someone else does), which is more than enough for rogue and hunter, the two classes I play.
That gives me enough keybinds that I have room for stuff like Focus macros (focus Blind, focus Silence Shot, focus Master's Call, etc) as well as my normal abilities.
You're doing it wrong.
For clarity, I have about 60 keybinds, it's just that the other 20 aren't able to be pushed within a tenth of a second in PvP.
Ignoring the rest of the thread, the Naga Hex is a great mouse if you are intimidated by the quantity of buttons on the standard Naga, the larger buttons are alot easier to press instinctively as well.

So my 1st post was early so I forgot to add...

Was worth the money, I've had it for at least 3 years now.
Here is my UI:
The bottom row of buttons is "1" through "-" (1-11 on fang), My fang goes not have a 12th button for "=". I only hit 1-6 & 11(-) due to the placement of buttons. It feels weird and I'm sometimes unsure for 7-10.
The Red Box around the buttons on the 2nd and 3rd row are ties to my Naga. Row 2 (middle) is 1-6. Row 3 (Top) is Shift or CTRL+ 1-6 on Naga. I do not remember what combo it is because I actually click that row.
Fang Board's 7-10 (7-0), top row of Naga Box, and everything else I click. The 2 action bars on the right are full of things I don't use often, or know they are RIGHT there (like trinks and them 2 Monk abilities I hardly ever use 'cuz I'm the best worst tank eva!). The other stuff has CDs/procs so they flash when I can use them.
This is all for PvE. When I PvP I have to load a different bar set up so I have all the right abilities keybound and what not.
I use WASD to move, mouse to turn & control camera. More buttons never hurt me, it is just remembering where I have them set :p
