Another dreary Monday after my college team struggled, but won, and my pro team lost its 4th straight. At least there's still WoW. As expected, I didn't make it to 90 over the weekend. I did get to 87.5 and most of the way through Valley of the Four Winds. I am absolutely loving the new content and can't wait to see the rest of the zones.

How did you guys do on your goals?

WOW: Yippee! I made real progress on the Warlock (almost 83 now) and played around with the new scenario on my 85s. Tomorrow, we're supposed to get MoP and I've got the rest of the week off. Smiley: grin

RL: What seemed to be destined to be a pretty depressing week is going much better than I would have guessed. Pink is continuing with her campaign to keep me distracted and doing a fine job of it.

I'm having a lot of fun. As my guild's GM and main healer, I have no shortage of guild 5 man runs. I've probably gotten more of my 87.5 from that than questing.

This weekend I maxed both my Tailoring and Engineering. Between the engineering helm and trinket, that's 5 cogwheels and a meta socket. Also, the Goblin Glider tinker on the cloak is very fun, and can be deployed while falling. Smiley: cool

WoW:
- Get my Priest to 85. He's 84 now with only 1,5 mio into the next level so there are still some quests that need to be done. <- I meant 90 and 89 respectively. Smiley: sly And I made it!
- Since I just maxed Enchanting I'd like to have Tailoring at 600 too. <- Close. Reached 595.
- Do everything Brewfest-related. Need as many tokens as possible. I was slacking last year and not buying anything so I need really really many if I want to do all missing achievements AND get both pets. Hopefully a mount will drop from Direbrew. <- Collected quite a few tokens. Sitting on a bit over 200 now so maybe I'll get everything of this holiday this year. But still neither mount nor trinket. -.-
- Start with Cooking and Archaeology. First Aid and Fishing I did a little bit already but they are not high on my priority list. <- Did almost nothing here.
- Catch some new pets! Still a long way to 250 pets but some day... <- Nope.
- Grind the Tol Barad Dailies. I almost have the 200 tokens for the fox and the zone should be pretty empty by now. <- Made some progress but still haven't reached the 200 yet. I dinged 90 by turning in one of them TB dailies. Smiley: lol

RL:
- Finish up some pieces for the synopsis of my diploma thesis I was working on this week. This one is pretty much on top of everything (even the WoW stuff Smiley: lol). <- Getting pretty close to wrapping this up. Finally.
- Help yet another friend move. <- Done.
- Finish up Curb Your Enthusiasm with my roommate. Need room for some new shows. <- No.

Got my wife's paladin from 78 to almost 82 and upped her gear to the point where we were able to try out some CATA instances.

Cleared Blackrock Caverns with little problems, was able to take out Altarius (2nd boss) in Vortex Pinnalce with a few problems, the 6 mob pulls can be pretty nasty when your partner only has 35k hp's ... did drop him twice though but no flying mount.

Made some gold and for grins and giggles, I solo'd Maga 10 man heroic raid (raid under hellfire citadel) with no problems. Though the lewts were disappointing.

No MoP purchase yet

Game: Am taking my time questing on my lock, finished Jade Forest and started on the farm quests in Vo4W...just enjoying it all. Mining at 600, JC almost there too. I put aside 2 stacks of ghost iron, and prospected 26 stacks. Considering the jc research daily, I'll be mining a lot from now on. Nodes spawn quickly tho, thankyouBlizz. Got a few more pets, sold a few pets, my main battle team is lvl 10ish. Want to work on that more this week.
RL: Ugly day yesterday, cloudy and gloomy. Did a couple hours clean up in the yard, and went out for dinner with gf.

Awesome weekend all-round. RL was great even though we finally got some rain and WoW stuff was perfect. Managed to get quite a few runs under the belt and my main is currently almost HC BiS. Of course JP/VP rep items are better but at the moment I am still working on those, should be able to buy some next week I hope.

Also, Race change Dadanox? Poor dwarves, you abandoning them, just like that ...

WoW - Outside the massive amount of dailies that a person can do daily, I am going to work on getting my Red Flying Disk of Awesome. Probably gun for the "All scenario's on a Saturday achievement. I also would like to step into a heroic or two but I am uncertain if I will or not. Oh and obviously farm Coren Direbrew for mounts and the trinket. I do need to hop on my enchanter and melt gear, also hop on my jewelcrafter and melt that metric ton of Ghost Ore I sent her.

Disk acquired! Didn't bother with teh scenarios, did some heroics though. I am happy with the difficulty of heroics. Sure hard heroics are fun the first time but after that they become a chore (which I am going to have to run Gate of the Setting Sun a ton of times to get the weapon I want). No trinket from Direbrew or mount, did get the mug twice and vendored it twice since it is still 85 loot. Also leveled my jewelcrafter to 600 and my enchanter is just under that, haven't bothered pushing her to that point since there isn't anything I "need" at that level. Overall a busy weekend.

I have not verified the existence of a world outside my window. Maybe this week....maybe...

WoW: Got a level on my hunter. Still only 86 now, but I'm not in a huge hurry to hit 90. Having too much fun pet battling.

RL: A friend of mine was out of town this weekend and her kids (ages 8 and 5) spent the weekend at my house. That was fun. Chaotic, but fun.

I think it's out there. And it's wet (we had a rainy weekend).

Also congrats on the disk!

Decided to play my rogue as my main. I guess I'm a sucker for stealth and stabbing. Tried monk, liked it a lot; that class may be my time waster when I'm bored of my rogue.

Didn't do much in RL because the girl I'm seeing is a flake ("oh sure Theo, we'll do something this weekend... oh wait, I'm going to Vancouver on Saturday, definitely on Sunday though... oh wait, I'm hanging out with girlfriends on Sunday... how about later this week?" Smiley: oyvey).

Wouldn't she then be the girl you're NOT seeing? /rimshot

Well, let's see here...

Sat: I managed to get my alliance black smith to "the ore farming spot" that I found. Thankfully, very few people seem to farm ore here. Didn't have any time to do anything _else_, though.

Sun: Didn't get much of anything done, sadly, until I got home from work. Mom and I took a pair of Horde characters through Jade Forest quests up until Dawn's Blossom.

Today: Lots of progress! We did the same thing with a pair of Alliance characters, but this time we had better crafts -- one of us had skinning, the other had mining and we wound up with more than enough ore to finish the alliance plate armor (so now ALL of our plate-wearers have all of their Lv85 craftables or better). I had some ore left over which I put towards Jewelcrafting, made 3 rings and 5 necklaces. Also, doing all of this stuff built up some nice windwool; I wound up making 4 shoulders, 4 belts, and 4 bracers for our spellcasters. That's 3 out of 8 pieces for all of our clothies (two mages, a warlock and a priest).

RL: Work work work. My weekend at work, sadly. At least its over now. yaay.

Dammit, I'm back too. And totally hooked on pet battles.

So, more of that.

Actually managed to do absolutely ZERO pet battles over the weekend Smiley: lol But I did hit 9000 achievement points, and leveled to just shy of 87. Really enjoying it so far!

Yep, pretty much. I'm just pissed because other friends were trying to get me to go out.

Including a girl that I really should have gone out with, because she wanted to see the new Bourne movie.
