Well I'm an awesome Resto healer in PvE, but PvP is another story when I'm getting beaten on lol

Playing a healer in PvP can be the most rewarding thing in the entire world of rewarding things, or the most annoying piece of sh*t job in HELL... depending on whether or not you've been spotted by the enemy team.

Did they nerf Resto PvP? If not I bet you have a pretty easy time of it. Drop your earthbind totem behind a barrier and laugh hysterically as you kite people around in a little circle. Smiley: wink

That's what I would imagine. I would feel like crap in a 3v3 situation if our team loses because I can't heal worth crap lol

I will definitely keep that in mind, protein =P

Well the great thing about a team with a rogue and a DK on it are that both of them have ways to keep themselves alive if the healer is struggling. I mean, most classes have something like that these days, the the rogue's and DK's are pretty potent.

Rogues aren't really stunlockers anymore in PvP, we really are about burst and timed control. I'm still not sure whether mutilate or sub will win out (assassination has a bit more sustained burst, sub has more control but less burst), but at this point I think mutilate is the way to go.

Rogue has really changed massively since the last time we PvPed together (which was WotLK iirc), but I actually much prefer how rogues play now.

I'm also fully able to go hunter (though I'll need practice to be as good at that class as I am at my rogue), which may work better with DK/shaman.

We'll have to see. Smiley: grin

I'm down for whatever. I haven't done any serious PVP since TBC and that was on a rogue where I dragged a horribad frost mage to 1700 with the 2 of us having under 100 resil combined. We pretty much had to forfeit against any team with a healer because he just wasn't good enough to burst down the DPS while I controlled the healer. Any team with 2 DPS was lunch, though.

Edit: I'm thinking with the right talents MasterFrost DK might be a good PVP spec. I haven't seen a lot about PVP in MoP anywhere yet, but it just seems like that spec with almost all of the damage ignoring armor and the capability of putting out something close to 300k damage in 6 GCDs (and 4 of them while still gap closing) seems like it would be brutal.

That's what I thought in regards to rogues. And yeah, if I remember right it was back then as well. Once I renew my sub in a couple of weeks I'll work on getting some pvp gear in the Shammy as well to have some resil on me. I'll also try to do some research on being a healer in pvp too. I'm actually really excited now to do some proper pvping with the two of you =). And that is HUGE as I really hate pvp lol
