I'm out of witty ways to start these Weekend Summary threads, so I'm just gonna jump right into it. The weekend went much as planned, other than my Saints getting skinned by Washington on Sunday. I only got a little bit of time to play anything, but I did get my new Star Wars alt out of her starting zone. I also made a test batch of thedish I'm making for my office's upcoming International Cooking contest.

Anyway, how did you guys fare on your goals?

WOW: Got to play with some of the new changes. My Warlock is now almost out of Northrend (77 and a bit), while my Shaman has begun the final push towards the Dark Portal (50, nearly 51). That was about five levels for each of them. I had fun and I'm eager to see how the rest of MoP will change things.

RL: I was rather distracted with the approach of the new semester. Things went well. It was Teacher's Day here. Bun kicked things off by calling me at 0030 to say she missed me and I got to hear from the daughters and various old students throughout the day.

It wasn't a very productive weekend, but it wasn't bad.

My plans were mostly thwarted when my lag and latency issues culminated with Error 134 crashes... Theres a sticky on the tech support boards on Battle.net that is helpful.
The Steeler game didn't end as well tho. :(

WoW:

- Make some gold on my main. Since the dungeon/raid goldnerf, that has slowed down considerably. All the other ways of making gold just bore me to death. I'll be happy if I make a couple of hundred across the whole weekend. Smiley: bah <- Done. Since I managed to sell some of the tournament pets I made more than 10k. Unexpected but really nice.

- Level my new warrior. Currently he is at 40 and I want him to be at least close to 85 when MoP hits. <- Done. He's just shy of level 50.

RL:

- Tonight go drink some wine with friends. Don't plan on getting too drunk. <- Done. Although I ended up getting rather drunk and felt really crappy the whole Saturday.

- Tomorrow help a friend move. Either before or after get a birthday present for my grandma. Helped the friend move and got the present. Didn't do anything else that day but ordering pizza.

- Sunday have lunch with the family and give granny her present. Afterwards do something for my diploma thesis. Had lunch but did nothing for my diploma. Will correct that when I'm done lurking here.

I didn't post any goals because it was my work weekend (I forgot to the weekend before too gah).

Anyways, with work, all I was really able to do, was to do my Inscription Research (all of you scribes out there, don't forget to do your researches! They seemed to have made the Glyph Books and Northrend Research the same, though Glyph Books don't incur the cooldown and aren't affected by it) and I did a little cloth and leather farming.

I'm trying to get Glacial/Embersilk Bags ready for our pandas by Sept 25th, the Horde gbank doesn't have any bags yet (need 8) and the Alliance has 4 out of 12 needed.

Awesome weekend for me.

WoW related I didn't at all get to do any non-LFR raids, but I got my DK to LFR and had a good time with him. DK tanks are way too fun (and easy to play). Also, I made a good 5k gold, which is better than I expected. I also picked my priest up again (level 80 since wotlk), and have done a few quests with him. Will probably try to get him to 85 by MoP.

RL: Attended a nice party and had a great dog walk/play time. Garden didn't get any love, but I prefer my dog anyhow.
