I'm a day late, but I've got a good excuse. I was off of work yesterday because of Labor Day and my home computer decided it didn't want to work when I booted it up for the first time in almost a week. The computer issue is disheartening since I just built the machine in February. Anyway, how was everyone's weekend? I had my son all weekend and through tonight. The cable finally came back on Sunday night (I think, I lost track of what day it was from being off 8 of the last 10 days) so I got to watch some TV. The tiny terror also discovered Candy Land, so lots of that was played this weekend. I made some ridiculous burgers and a couscous salad for lunch yesterday.

How about you guys?

WoW - Got my mid level mage's professions to 320 (enchanting) and 360 (tailoring) and the mage herself is at 65.

RL - Roommmates family came down to visit this weekend so I maybe got 4 hours of playtime. My old folks are coming down today and will be here for about a week so I doubt I am going to get much gaming done while they are down. Oh well, I haven't seen them in about a year so it will be nice. Not to mention that my mom has never been to to the ocean. I plan to take them here or here. Haven't made up my mind.

Game stuff, I spent a lot of time on the Blizzard tech forum looking for solutions.
Got some Faire stuff done without a problem when all addons were turned off. And when in hell does that stupid rabbit actually spawn?? Smiley: bah

Real life, grass was cut, weeds were whacked, and then the rains came before the shrubberies could be attacked. Smiley: sly

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that my computer is not working now. The monitor is not getting a signal from the video card. Not sure if it's the monitor, the DVI cable,, or the video card. Gonna take the monitor to my mom's house tonight to test it and if it's working fine I'll open up the tower and check all of the connections on the video card.

WOW: Got myself ready for the patch since it was supposed to hit Tuesday. Smiley: dubious After lurching through a long download, I logged on and nothing had changed. The most recent word is that the patch will go live at 0100 hrs. We'll see, I've got about fifteen minutes to wait.

RL: It was a very quiet weekend, but I double checked my plans and materials and will be ready for the new school year to start next week.

Vorkosigan -- Don't try a frontal assault, that rabbit's dynamite!

BigD -- Good luck! Hopefully the heat and humidity didn't fry something.

May your week go well and the weekend even better!

I was in a 40-man raid group, most of whom were IN that cave.
It reminded me of Dragon's Aery in FFXI. /run away

It really wasn't that bad. The 2 days the power was out were mostly overcast and it didn't even crack 80 in my house, which is where I set my thermostat to when I'm at work. I'm hoping I just loosened a connection on the video card when I was moving my PV around trying to solve my internet issues. Or that it's a bad DVI cable.

Anyway, diagnosis starts tonight when I bring the monitor to my mom's house and hook it up to her laptop. If that fails, the PC case will be opened up and the connections checked. Worst comes to worst the video card is bad, but it's only 8 months old so it's still under warranty.
