Apparently the scroll of res is very finicky. My wife read about the "NEW" Scroll of resurrection that gives a fancy mount for her account and apparently a free 7 days of gametime and a free lvl 80 toon for the other person. I haven't played the game since April of this year so she activated her account and sent one to me. Well after she gives them money (it wouldn't let her send it before paying) it pops up and says she can't do it because the cutoff date was March 5th 2012. Well that's nice that the patcher offers the "NEW" Scroll of Resurrection but requires the other account be deactivated for over 6 months!

This really upsets me yea I am sure if we went and researched this and read through the FAQ we would have discovered this. Why should it matter if it was March 5th? I mean an inactive account is an inactive account. Would think they would just be happy people might be interested in coming back to the game to give them more money.

Anyways anybody know if contacting a GM or phone supprort they might go ahead and allow us to do this? I mean its not like it costs them anything to do this.

The minimum requirement is likely there to prevent people from unsubscribing and then popping a scroll to instantly get the mount and the free level 80 character. What I don't get is why it's a fixed date. Why March 5th? Will it still be March 5th in a month? Makes no sense. Why not just "Must have been inactive for x months"?

It's also pretty silly that someone has to send the scroll. Since anyone can send it, there's really no need for anyone to send it. Why not just make it a "Resubscribe now and get epics!" offer with the requirement that the account has been inactive for x months?
