All I can say is sucks. I lod in talents gone again. Xome moron developer thinks this works. I don't get it is WOW trying to get rid of customers. I have played for 6 years plus. This time I don'y even want to play.I lod into my hunter and he's a wuss and so is my pet. He died in almost all my battles Guess your out to get rid of the casual players. Hope that works for you.Guess its time to find another game. Shane liked this one even though its guild base. But there where things to do.Don't really think I can spend $40.00 plus for the new expansion if this is where they are going.Never got delvelopers.always fix whats not broken and ***** up the fix.Basicaly totally unhappy with this last patch. The pet thing sucks and what you did with talents suck. I know I;m casual player and this is not where I want to go. Hope making Guilds happy pays for the new game.

Actually, MANY people do think this works (me included). Why make us click things that we're going to click regardless? 80% of all of the talents in the talent trees were a "no-brainer". You either clicked them or... you didn't and got laughed at for it. lol.



Customers quit in droves in the beginning of Cataclysm, yaknow, when everything was hard as balls? So, they did the logical thing... "Hey, we had awesome subs in Wrath, and we listened to the vocal minority and woah, we lost a bunch of people. Let's make it more like Wrath was again and get more subs!" Makes sense, right?



Want a cookie? Blizz doesn't care about how long you played; they care more about whether or not you are playing now. In fact, new players are more likely to play longer than old veterans; old veterans are more likely to say "been there, done that" as any game, including WoW, does get repetitive after awhile.

This means that their focus is more on getting new players to join (hence their repeated specials on Recruit-a-Friend, and the sales they ran on the original boxed set+Wrath+Cataclysm, as well as their Scroll of Resurrection promotions). They want new people, or people who've been away for awhile to join up. They'd like to keep current customers, true, but it seems like more of their focus is in getting new blood to join up.



Lemme guess, you didn't set your pet as tenacity? All pets can choose a spec. Did you even spec him at all?



Okay, so... you fail and somehow that is "getting rid of casual players"? The talents were on PTR for a month plus, and in Beta for... oh my, two months before that? If hunters were truly underpowered, the masses of players on PTR and Beta would have caught it. So it sounds like it is just a case of You Fail.



Please do. Then we don't have to listen to your whining.



Guild based? I dunno if I'd go that far, but yes they DO encourage people to be social and group up...yanno, Massively Multiplayer Online RPG?



There still are plenty of things to do. I doubt you've cleared every dungeon and every raid, have you? Not if you can't figure out how to solo mobs as a hunter.



Good riddance.



Then don't go there. There are millions of happy players who do like where they're going. Millions of happy players that don't suck, that is.



Making people happy generally does help, yes.

I'm sure it had nothing to do with me convincing random visitors that you guys were Blizzard officials.

Wait! What? I'm not? But ... I kept taking "Improve Blizzard"!

This was an issue in beta too and it drove me nuts that it was never fixed. It seemed to be working a bit better yesterday, but I didn't check it out thoroughly.
