Hurricane party at my house tomorrow!!! No, seriously. I live in New Orleans and Isaac is heading right for us. I gotta stop on the way home and make sure I have enough charcoal for the grill in case we lose power for the next couple of days. Anyway, enough about the exciting times ahead, this thread is for looking back. Despite having the tiny terror this weekend, I was able to get a decent amount of gaming in. I got into a PUG for the T1 raid in SW:TOR and did a good pit of PVP. While doing all of that, I even managed to get some chores done and start the massive cleaning project that is my condo.

How was your weekend?

Beer and sun took the spotlight once again for me during the weekend.

WoW related I played my mage a bit on Friday and managed to get her close to 83. And I had another White Hatchling hatch for me instead of a green proto on my main. I couldn't face to do the Firelands dailies again either Saturday or Sunday, so I just run 5 quick TB dailies Sunday night as I collect more TB tokens, still undecided about whether I'll get the ground mount or save up for the Fox pet should it actually end up being available for TB tokens.

With 5.0.4 coming up this Wednesday I expect I'll decidedly get a lot more WoW time next weekend.

WOW: The Bunny got things straightened out, but RL conspired to keep me from getting any time in on WOW. I probably could have coaxed out a few hours, but wanted to wait to see what patch day will bring to us. At the very least, why burn LFR runs when I hope that we'll get the new loot system! Ah, well, for moments like that, there is always Skyrim to fall back on.

RL: She gets to celebrate her birthday twice, once on the solar calendar and once on the traditional calendar. Her birthday on the traditional, lunar calendar falls on the Chinese equivalent of Valentine's Day, which was last week. Sorry BigD, there was cavorting and now you have bad weather. Smiley: eek We had a late lunch at a Korean BBQ, did a bit of shopping and missed dinner altogether because we were too full from lunch. Sunday, a colleague returned from summer break in Cambodia and several of us got together at the local XiBei (Northwestern Chinese) place for excessive amounts of skewered lamb at an outside table. Something in the air is setting my allergies off and that is making a mess of my sleep, but Monday started with a guy pounding on the door to deliver a commercial sized can of instant coffee -- vile stuff, but I drink it to stay awake rather than from any delusion that it tastes like coffee -- that Bun had ordered over the Internet for me. I gather that further gifts will probably arrive tomorrow, vitamins and ceramic cooking knives.

AH-CHOO!!! Hopefully the patch will go well for everyone and BigD will be spared the brunt of their latest storm! Good luck!

Started last stage of legendary daggers for my rogue. Other than that, spent most of the weekend studying for my finals this week. Last class is friday... so I would imagine my next weekend goal will be a heavy drinking party (graduation party that is).

In game, I farmed frost weave. I hate Icecrown.
In rl, Moved some furniture, bought the littlest ceiling fan I've ever seen for an equally tiny bedroom, and drank ale at the fairly neat local ren faire, while laughing at my brother in his kilt.

Celebrated my two last days of freedom before going back to my studies by playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Due to crashes, freezes, me trying to fix said crashes and freezes, installing updates that erased all my save games and so on, I'm now on the first mission. Smiley: facepalm

Time for real life commitments again. Ugh.

Hey, BigD, how are you doing over there? It looks like your propitiatory sacrifices of charred animal flesh and alcohol failed to keep you from the storm. Hopefully, they kept you safe.
