Got this questFollow

Someone linked this quest to me in-game.

Wowhead said it's not int he game any more, but the exp and gold seem to suggest it's something from MoP. Was is something that was in the beta that somehow got leaked to the live servers?

About the same time, there were also ELM named NPCs in regular and gigantic.

I'm perhaps overly wary and won't be clicking on the links (perhaps someone with more robust security can check), but I am also seeing similar hits on a site in Russia. Comments in the quest linked by OP include:



Most of the comments on that page seem to have the same date, 2012/06/20.

Best guess? Somebody managed to get into an area not open to the general public and brought out a souvenir. Russian hacker?

Keep the quest as a souvenir? Did you actually manage to find a quest like that on a legit server? If so I would certainly hang onto it. If you found it on a private server there are two things you must do.

1) Stop being a cheep **** and pay for a game you enjoy.
2) See step one.
