BLARGH! Blargh I say! Woke up this morning to the transformer at my condo complex blowing, so my power went out. Anyway, at least it's Friday and the power should be back on well before I get home from work. I'm got the tiny terror this weekend, so a lot of gaming time is probably out of the question. I'm gonna bring him the Children's Museum tomorrow and then the park on Sunday. Other than that, just the normal weekend chores need doing.

Last night must have been a bad power night.
We had a mild rain storm at ~4PM EST, lights were constantly flickering and power kept going out for a couple seconds here and there. Seriously, this is getting *real* old, wish they'd do better maintenance on the grid. Then, power went out around 4:30-4:45, not more than 5 minutes after we finished making supper.
Didn't come back on until 4:30am this morning. Arrrrrrrgh.
We just had a 14-hour outage last month, and now a 12 hour one this month... the month before last, a 4-5 hour outage again in the evening like always.
Anyways... this weekend, other than transmutes, I can't think of a single thing to do in the game. Kinda wish they'd hurry up with 5.0.4, lol.
Oh well, I do have a few Steam summer sale purchases to work on; bought CitiesXL (I miss the days when Sim City was actually good and fun and didn't crash every 5min) and Torchlight (haven't messed with it much).
Almost done with FO:NV, only one DLC to go so I'll probably end up finishing that at some point.
Otherwise, work work work. Meh.

-Just Vashj'ir to finish to get my loremaster. I will be glad when this is done. Knowing me I will probably do it again on my monk. What can I say, I am a glutton for punishment.
- Probably will start farming reputation next.
-Or I could keep pushing what achievs I can solo for the red proto. Got most of them down and I know some of them I will need a group. Still fun trying to push myself.

-Grass needs a good weedkiller sprayed on it. Got some sitting in the garage. Haven't bothered putting it on the yard as of yet. Need to do it before the grass gets too high and I will need to mow.

WOW: Looks like I'll have little to no play time this weekend. Since it is already after midnight here, making it technically Saturday morning, I'll claim that I made progress by getting the Warlock to Outland and the Death Knight to 72 (far enough along to move out of the starting zones of WotLK). I have 49% to go to get a flying mount for the Warlock. If I get more play time, I'd like to get the mount, grab Outland herbs and grind 10 more points on the DK's Inscription.
RL: If we don't have more heavy rains, Bun will be coming over for a while Saturday. Later, again subject to being called on account of rain, I'll be having dinner with an old student since Bun-Bun can't stay long. She has to head back to her place to get ready for her next week of classes, which start Sunday evening.
The rain continues to have people on edge. We got missed by a second storm, but it hit Tianjin and one of my guildies (who had previously assured me that they were a coastal city and could handle rain) says that water in his area was waist deep. More rain is expected to hit us Saturday. We've had light thundershowers since about 2000 Friday, so I may play more WOW than I have planned to.
Stay safe in whatever extremes of heat or weather may be plaguing your area. May the RNG smile on you (especially you guys grinding mounts)!

I very much doubt that I will be able to get my alliance 81 rogue and shaman to 85 before MoP, particularly since I've been continuing to level them in Northrend rather than Cataclysm zones for loremaster achievements, but I will continue to poke along with them. My other seven 85s are just completing some basic achievements for cooking / fishing / pets / mounts in various places. I would like to go back to a few of my horde characters and worgen on my second account, who have been very lonely the past few months. We'll see.
