Sorry, I'm a bit late with this. I had a pretty good weekend. Went and saw The Amazing Spider-Man and it was pretty good. Got in some decent gaming time. How about you guys? Did you accomplish your goals?

Let's see here...

I work Sunday, so most of my WoW-stuff will have to happen tomorrow.

Meh, we had a major power outage at 4pm EST on Saturday; I didn't get a damn thing done after that, because the power was out until 6am Sunday. But...

Quote:
I'm not sure quite yet, mom and I have 4 more characters left to get on 85; an 84 warrior, and 82 and a half warrior (both mine), and she's got an 84 warlock and an 83 priest.

Before the power outage, mom and I took our 82 and 83 to Deepholm, my warrior and her priest. By suppertime, we had finished the entire zone and her priest was 84 and my warrior just 4 or so bars short of 84 as well. We had logged off and started getting supper ready when the power went out; we planned on doing the first day of Therazane and maybe I'd do some dungeon runs.

The next morning, when the power was finally on, I had about an hour and some before I had to take a shower to go to work for my 9am shift. We did the first day of Therazane and got Revered (thanks to the two reputation guild perks). That means my warrior gets 2 easy 346 rings, her priest gets 1 346 ring too.

What I'd like to do, is get the 82 and 83s up to 84 that way, both pairs of characters are ready for Twilight Highlands. And in the meantime, I might do some archaeology here, dungeon runs there with the characters. Not sure how far I'll get, but I'd like to make some progress on that tomorrow. Did 2 dungeon runs today and got nearly half a level on my warrior as it is. I can never seem to get a BRC fresh run, I always get ToT or half-done BRC and I can't even pick up the quests because they're already halfway in the dungeon and ToT has no quests unless you did all of Vashj'ir.

As I said above, no dungeon runs, but we DID do Deepholm which was unplanned. I had planned on just going into Deepholm for the axe and maybe the thrown weapon early in the quests, turns out we did much more than that. lol.

So now, 3 of the 4 characters that remain are on 84 and are ready for Twilight Highlands, and 1 character should be there soon, some Archaeology or a dungeon run or what-not should push him to 84 easily.

No big wow plans. I did DS on Tuesday and we cleared it with no issues so that means no going back this weekend to finish.
I did all of the monthly profession stuff for the DMF on my characters for the free skill ups and exp so I don't feel much need to go back for the dailies.
My farming for gear and stuff is about all I do lately. I think because I'm feeling the coming expansion and I have all this stuff I want to complete before it hits and gives me a bunch more stuff to do. It's weird not farming for mounts for alts now that they'll be account wide. It was one of my little projects but now there is just no point which makes me a little sad. The same with pet collecting too - I don't have any reason to gather them on alts anymore. The only thing left for my alts to collect is transmog gear and recipes, I guess.

One of my projects I had been working on was farming the Arcanite Reaper plans for my blacksmith. A super rare drop from a rarespawn mob. I finally got mine this weekend! :D Yay!

-Keep plugging away at achievements. Will probably focus on Outland this weekend.
-Get cooking to 525. Shouldn't be hard per say. Just got to do some fishing... and dailies every day to get the recipe I need.

Got my cooking to 525, finished SMV and Nagrand, and managed to do some generic messing around. Good weekend overall.

-Another weekend of not much going on. I got to pull some weeds though. The heat has kept the grass low but certain weeds really don't care. Shouldn't be too hard, they stick out like a sore thumb.

Turns out the tall weeds aren't the problem. I got some burr grass type weeds growing in the yard. Started to pull them and after clearing about 10 sq feet and feeling their wrath I am going to just get some extra strength weed killer and watch them die. Smiley: mad

WOW: Lag continued to be a major problem, making even the mailbox a tough boss to beat; fishing bobbers were so rough that I was beginning to thing I wouldn't be able to get my Alliance toons through DMF. I got Igor, the Worgen Warrior, up to 78 ... but without lag I would have been well into Cata content. All the same, I seem to be on track for my larger goal, which is to go into MoP with a properly prepared stable of characters, instead of playing catch up yet again!

RL: Yay! Despite the "Three Illegals" crackdown, Bun and I were able to get my papers updated with no fuss. It probably helped that I've been living in the same place for awhile and the clerk we got recognized us. I'm good for another year.

May the RNG continue to smile on all of you. Morghast, here's hoping that you have a smooth recovery. BigDs, admit it, you're hanging out at a beach using the lotion pickup line. Criminy, just say "no"!

I had some playtime, after fixing our Central Air. >.<

I messed around Druid and went from Level 20 to 42 and Warlock hit 61. Otherwise it was family time and reading the Kindle.

Lugged boxes up and down at my parent's house, my grandmother can't bear to part with anything. It's her stuff. My dad disappears. My mother rolls her eyes, and says "we'll save it all for you...her stuff and our stuff" :)

Worked on my priest's herbing and inscrip. Skinned some stuff on my little hunter.

Trust me I was repeatedly shouting that when I saw how bad those burr like weeds gotten. Smiley: laugh
