Just for Rhode so he's not jealous of the debauchery he imagines me participating in when I don't show up for a goals thread.

No real gaming goals to set as I have the tiny terror this weekend and probably won't get to play much.

On the real life side, we are going to the park for my sister-in-law to take some semi-professional photos of the tiny terror for me to use as his 3rd birthday pictures (his birthday was 2 weeks ago) since I am too cheap to pay a portrait studio (and my sister takes really good photos anyway).

How about you guys?

It'll be 90F+ here thru the weekend. Heat being bad for me, I intend to sit on my butt drinking and eating whatever my gf feels like putting in front of me. Maybe read. I just finished re-reading Rothfuss' The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fear because they're excellent and I can't wait til the 3rd book next year.
In WoW, Darkmoon Faire starts Sunday, so I'll be doing that on my alts. Was also leveling herbs on my priest most of this week.

WoW:
-Keep working on leveling my engineering. At 350 atm and my goal is at least 450 before Monday.
-Already farmed MC, BWL, and Kara so I might do AQ40. Got to pick up either BM or Marks for the Twin Emperors so I can actually do enough damage to kill them.
-Swing by Darkmoon faire and drop off some quest items. Hate having them clutter my bank and bags.

RL:
-100+ this weekend so I will certainly be staying inside. Got Red Dead Redemption in the mail the other day so if I am not on WoW I will be shooting stuff off the back of my horse. Or, as what happened to me several times before I had to walk away, my horse will spaz out when it gets near a bridge and proceed to avoid the bridge and aim for the ravine, killing my horse and making me redo the dang mission... again...

RL:
Friday wine & snacks tonight. Not much else planned for weekend, other than a birthday dinner for friends on Sunday(?). Supposed to be rainy Saturday through Monday, so might not get out for any walks.

WoW:
My 84 shadow priest just has a few bars to go, and I would like to get my 83 paladin to next level. Still poking along with cooking & fishing achievements on various characters. Would like to get back to a few of my horde characters for a bit of a change as well. We'll see.

Enjoy!

Smiley: laugh Jealous? I expect you to keep up! New Orleans has a reputation to maintain!

WOW: Get Igor (the Worgen Warrior) to at least 70 and try to make at least one serious push on one of the lower level alts, possibly the Warlock, while we still have Midsummer Festival for the boost.

RL: Pamper the Bunny. She just started an 18 month cooking academy that has many of the quirks inherent in the Chinese educational approach. They are locked in on campus Monday through Friday and begin each day with a physical training program before moving on to practice basic cutting techniques and garnishes. It will be three months before they are allowed to begin to learn actual dishes (part of the physical training is intended to get them ready to handle 4 KG loads that are going to involve hot oil and lots of flames) but at the end she has a shot at 4-5 star restaurants. Just getting here is going to take her 2-3 hours (hopefully she will find shortcuts later) because they have her stuck off in the middle of nowhere.

Sorry Rhodekylle, after a few drinks the difference between red and green gets to be difficult. I petitioned our overlords to remedy the situation and hope they only take my first born and not my good looks.Smiley: frown

Smiley: laugh Remember, it worked for William Marshall.

It would probably help if they put "Report" in between the two and spaced them out slightly.

I feel like crap too - although surgery plus two nights of hospital stay can leave you feeling that way.
Surgery went well though and the doctors seem happy with how I'm recovering so I guess I am happy too.

I haven't been on WoW since Monday - didn't feel up to it when I got home yesterday. I'm gonna try for a little WoW time tonight.

No big goals for the weekend - just gonna do whatever I feel like whether that be napping or watching tv or reading or playing a bit on my games.
The drugs have me a little spacey at times so I am not responsible for anything I end up doing. >.>

WoW: I suspect DMF will take a large part of either Sunday or the first few days of the week. Otherwise, I'm hoping to get 1-2 of my remaining characters on 85, hopefully get the last bit of Lv85 pvp crafted stuff made and equipped. Not sure what else I plan on doing; I think both mom and I are trying to get stuff set up so we can take a short break while waiting on MoP. We've been slaving away for awhile now trying to get everything squared away so that everyone is 85 with maxed crafts so we're ready to hit the ground running. When Cataclysm went Live, there were lots of stuff not done, characters that still needed leveling, crafts that needed done, etc. We're hoping that will be different for MoP; we've only got 4 non-85 characters left and they are all 81+.

IRL: Meh. Work work work. I don't get any time off until Mon afternoon. Then if all goes well and I don't have to train that newbie they just hired, I should have Mon Night through Thurs afternoon off. yaaay, finally some rest.
