They gave away the Thrall figurine at the Blizzcon last year. You're a bit late. :P

I think that the MegaBloks Blizzard product line is supposed to be coming out this year?

#5 Mar 31 2012 at 8:19 PM Rating: Good
oh yea..because of all the lay offs or something? Sounds like fans need to have one in the middle of the USA (like St. Louis).

More likely because the MoP and Diablo 3 will be brand new and they'll have nothing new to talk about this year.

It's the Hunter's pet. (The Eagle thing is a Bow)

Eagle thing? I don't see any eagle thing, but the creature that looks like a worgen is clearly a tauren: it has a nose ring.

So on the Alliance side, I see a red-haired dwarf and a creepy-looking flying gnome, and on the Horde side, there's a a huge tauren that looks a lot like a worgen with a cow nose ring - with an undead crouching on his back, and a small, cowering troll.

Ignore this. I obviously was not thinking clearly, and since I don't have a widescreen monitor, I simply don't see everything that's on the screen. My mistake.

Small cowering troll = Orc
To the right of the undead guy is a wolf pet. Wolf mistaken for Worgen.
Below wolf, right of Tauren, is bow that has eagle heads (wielded turned sideways, by a Troll you can't see).

*shakes head at self*

I still don't see either the wolf or the eagle bow, but now it's clear to me that it's a monitor issue. My screen cuts off right in the middle of the Tauren, so I don't see *anything* to the right of either the Tauren or the undead guy. Without seeing even part of the troll, the orc does look troll-ish. I suppose there are other Alliance characters to the left of the dwarf and gnome, too.

Gah. I apologize for giving stupid information ;P. I should have remembered that most people have widescreen monitors these days.

My attempt to paste the image here has failed (to small, can be seen in my images).

On my screen the image fades to black on both sides... so all I see (from top, going clockwise):
Horde side: Undead (mage), bottom of a wolf's head, the bow (then the image fades to black), below the Tauren is another Undead (his elbows show as bones), and in the middle is the Tauren.

Ally side: The Gnome, the Dwarf, a Human, a Hand, big *** Axe.

Mines only 17.5. If you are using FF or Chrome, you could zoom your screen out, that may help. CTRL + -/+

Yeah, this was their reasoning. It has nothing to do with lay offs. Or at least publicly it doesn't.

I'm on the Netbook right now and I'm not seeing anything but the Tauren, the two undead (above and below), the Dwarf and the Gnome. It's widescreen but the resolution makes some sites look a bit weird. 1024 X 600 - and the only other option is 800 X 600 which makes things look really bad. I'm all curious now though so I will try to remember to look when I'm at home on my good computer. :)

The Mega Bloks Thrall is pretty cool but my Lego elitist boyfriend was a bit disappointed that they didn't go with Lego instead. Heh It still didn't keep him from buying the big Star Craft spaceship they had at Blizzcon though.

may give in and buy Thrall online. I think I need it.

If it were a Worgen, it'd be a naked Worgen. I'm going with Worg hunter pet, given the giant eagle bow in the foreground of the worg/en face.

It is kind of weird that the Tauren has canines though. Taurens are supposed to be cow people, I would think that would make them herbivores.

Generally speaking, Tauren are cowpeople. They could be herbivores. The bit that contradicts this is that their entire culture seems to be based around hunting.

I would say that they should not have canines, as they are cowpeople, however, they most certainly eat meat.
#23 Apr 09 2012 at 11:03 AM Rating: Good
Just because they hunt doesn't mean they eat meat. The Tauren don't strike me as people who would hunt wastefully, but I'm sure they use the hide for lots of different things. I will concede though, that it's probably fairly likely that they eat the meat too.

If they DO eat meat, biologically speaking they would have to have canines. We do, and we're omnivores. They aren't as pronounces as they are in animals who only eat meat, but we do have them. They're the third tooth back on either side.

Well they would not HAVE to have them, but it would be a huge advantage as far as eating is concerned. They also successfully shoot bows with only three fingers... so I am not too concerned about the evolutionary development of their teeth.

My brain wanted Sand to be an Indian girl named Sandi Nmybum for a while. Smiley: um

No idea why, but I'm assuming it's some Freudian something.

Yeah, the fingers thing is pretty odd. I realize it's just a game, but as far as I know, all mammals that eat meat have canines, whether they are carnivores or omnivores. Tauren are humanoid cows, so I think it's a safe bet that they are mammals. Especially given that the females have breasts and all.
