I wish I had frap'd this one...
My Feral's team (about 1650 rated Feral / Ret / Disc) was against a similarly rated RMP (Rogue / Mage / Priest, for the uninitiated) in Ruins of Lorderon. We were in the middle of a pretty bad run, and feeling pretty crappy about it ... So many mage teams, so much control. And in case anyone wants to say "Mages are fine L2P!" Blizzard has actually acknowledged that they have too much control... but anyway...
RMP always gives us trouble. In this particular match, they jumped our Ret (as they always do) and did a good enough job CC'ing the healer and I to get a pretty quick, clean kill. The ret jumped off the size (in Ruines of Lorderon) before he died. I was SO MAD that I sat back from my keyboard, semi-AFK, as they jumped me. Out of boredom, my Disc priest decided to heal me through it. After about 20 seconds of beating on me, they decided to go after him because it's hard to kill a 4500 feral druid while a priest is spamming heals. The Priest ran away, around the corner.
Suddenly, it occured to me, that even though the mage was still basically beside me, I was behind him and out of sight. So I thought ... Hmmm... I wonder if they will notice a little rez?
So I started rezzing the Ret...
And much to my surprise, the ret returned to life! I tossed a couple of my (terrible) HoTs on him. Right around that time, the priest called for help because he was out of defensive cooldowns...
I tossed 2 stacks of (bad feral) life bloom on him, and a rejuv. I watched his HP tick at around 3k for a solid 4-5 seconds before we managed to get some peels off and he managed to top himself up.
We then swapped to the cooldown-used-up Rogue and quickly destroyed him for a win!
We yelled and screamed and felt a lot better :)
It was definitely the highlight of the season (and probably the expansion) for me!
