If you sold your account you don't deserve it back anyway IMO. Feel free to tell Blizzard Customer Support you did and let us know how that goes. Starting up a new account is really your only real option.

You say yourself you know its wrong so what exactly do you want people here to tell you anyway?
#3InfoPlease, Posted: Nov 12 2011 at 6:43 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Just because i would rather start with what i had than from scratch, sounds so bad, but just because of how long its been since i sold it, id like to know if anything can happen to me for recovering my old account.
#4InfoPlease, Posted: Nov 12 2011 at 6:47 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) and im not talking about getting my old account permanently banned (if that did happen), im talking legal action, because it was done on Ebay, over a year ago, can any legal actions be taken towards me?

Well technically I think you did sell something that isn't actually your property. So technically ya that probly was illegal. We all actually own nothing on our accounts, Blizzard does and we just get to play them.

You do realize it is against the ToS to sell your account. What with you not owning the characters and all that. Before you get into the obvious "But I pay money each month to play!!11!" let me stat that you are paying Blizzard to play the game, nothing more. If Blizzard came along and decided to delete all the characters on your character selection screen they can since it is technically their characters. Call Blizzard up and explain to them what you did if you don't believe me, I am sure the person who will answer will get a kick out of explaining what I just said to you.

Anywho, to put it bluntly your old account is gone. Period. End of Story.

Edit: Dang-it CaptinXeith, you beat me to it! Smiley: motz

#7InfoPlease, Posted: Nov 12 2011 at 6:58 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I dont want to explain to blizzard that i sold my account as then it definitly would get permanently banned, im just wondering that if i was to tell blizzard i had'nt played since WotLK wanted to come back, had obviously been 'hacked' and got my account back, could any legal actions be taken towards me, because the guy who has the account currently, bought it from me, but because he bought it over a eyar ago, i was wondering if he could do anything legal that would get me into trouble.

You got your answer and it's not going to change. Asking the same question several times isn't going to change that.

I was being nice but not anymore. I will type two words that you can do that will solve all our problems.

GO AWAY

Seriously, you @#%^ed up and did something stupid. Be a man and start over instead of trying to cheat your way around the system. Smiley: disappointed

New derail topic- Tacos and Beer

What are everyones favorite taco toppings? I stick with the basics of some lettuce, sour cream, cheese, and hot sauce. Anyone have any unconventional toppings that are good? Or what is your favorite taco recipe?

And since no thread here is complete without beer, what is the best beer to go with tacos? I personally normally stick with my standby Miller Lite, but I did pick up a case of Sam Adams Octoberfest and it's pretty good.

If anything it would be small claims court suit and you would probably lose and have to pay the court costs of the guy who bought it. There would be no jail involved. The question is, is it worth it to potentially spend hundreds of dollars in court or to spend $50-$60 and a couple of days played to get back to where you were before selling the account? With the way the game plays currently, option B is much better.

As for taco toppings, tend to meat, refried beans, cheese, and lettuce. Sometimes tomatoes.

Taco - When I was visiting a friend down in Austin he took me to this one Mexican restaurant that had some of the most delicious Fish Tacos. I can't be arsed to cook them myself or I would have them at least once a week.

Beer - Not a beer fan but I do love me a strawberry-banana daiquiri.

I would love to eat her fish taco.

Giggity.
