Read my post again. I didn't say prostitution is manipulation, I said offering sex for goods in a virtual game is feminine manipulation, because no sex is actually going to occur. One could argue that if the guy is dumb enough to fall for it, he deserves to be parted with his gold, but I still don't think it's right.

I may have to figure out which of my characters on Aerie Peak I'm not going to level so I can delete it and reserve Melanoleuca for my Pandaren monk.

I don't blame you. I was tempted to do the same, but I don't know yet if my panda is going to be a monk or if I'm going to race change my shaman. Kungfucius sounds like it should be a monk name.

It's something they've talked about doing. One thing they mentioned they might do is to keep the maximum characters total at 50, like it is today, but allow you to have more than 10 to a server. So, if you wanted, you could have all 50 on one server.

There was a post by Ghostcrawler that was discussing the problem. The most prominent idea was that they would keep the current cap, but allow you to pick where you had that cap. So, you could have 50 characters on one server in theory. None of it was "final" and he did say they weren't sure what to do...but I think its become such a glaring problem they will have to do it.

EDIT:

I'm trying to find the link. I know there are some older posts that say he had no intentions of doing that, but a more recent one from either Blizzcon 11 or after said they were looking into the issue and planning on doing something.
