i r think u shud go wit teh mouse u liek moast u no? i use logiteck permonfance mx n its cool!

R.A.T. 7 looks horribel unfomcortable

To answer your question in a somewhat more coherent way, I think the RAT 7 mouse looks horrible. Generally not a fan of "gaming mice" as they tend to come with a lot of fluff. I use a Logitech Performance MX mouse and it's served me well.

If I had to choose from the two you listed, I'd go with the SteelSeries mouse.

I'm using the mouse that came with my computer. I could use a couple more buttons. Both for healing and for PvP.

This is on my birthday wishlist...

My hands are way too large for me to ever benefit from having half a keyboard attached to my mouse.

But there's buttons, lotsa buttons. Buttons are good, I like them. Smiley: drool2

Really it's mostly for my engineer warlock. I have a lot of abilities I'd like to make more accessible. Besides it's not like you have to bind all 17 buttons to different things. Smiley: wink

In that case, say no more.

I pull out my extra keyboard whenever I play my Warlock.

I wouldn't go with the WoW mouse or the RAT. I do like the Logitech one similar to what Mazra uses. I use the MX 518.

The WoW one is uncomfortable. The RAT is too adjustable. While I think it would be nice to adjust the width and length of a mouse I think it's unnecessary. It's really only something you would do initially and leave it setup that way. In that case you're better off finding a mouse that feels good to you. Shape and weight are the most important. After that it's ease of using and also pushing buttons. Programmable buttons are also a must now days.

Logitech MX518 is cheap and good. I personally use the G5 and I <3 it, if I ever need to buy a new mouse it'll probably be the G500.

I use a Logitech G9x and its serving me well.

I also have a G510 keyboard Logitech was kind enough to upgrade me to after my G15 'died' But 18 macros is a bit excessive.

I have a steelseries, and it took a long long time to get comfortable with it. It felt huge compared to the regular logitech mouse that came with the computer.

I bought the steelseries recently and really like it. It is huge though compared to a standard mouse, I don't find it uncomfortable though (really weird using the standard size mouse at work now). I have two current issues that I haven't got around to solving:

1. If you have more than one wow open it will send button presses to both windows, won't be an issue if you only play one account.

2. Related mostly to healing. You can't mouse over unit frames and cast spells using the buttons, a lot of my healing macros use mouseover in them (so I hover my mouse over someones party frame and press 2 and it casts a heal on them) if I try doing this with a mouse button then it doesn't work.

I'm assuming both of the above problems could be solved by binding the mouse buttons to keyboard keys, but my keyboard already has extra buttons that I've had to bound like this so I'd prefer to keep my extra mouse buttons as actual extra buttons, not just more accessible buttons.

I have a razer naga and love it. It takes a few hours of game play to get used to it but once you do your skill will double. The mouse is comfortable and of a normal size. It's the best mouse for any mmo.

I have a Razer Naga and like it just peachy. You get used to the little buttons, and it's great for people who need a lot of, you know, buttons.

However, as soon as I went to A Different Game and didn't need so many buttons anymore, I pulled my MX518 back out. Nobody beats Logitech.

That, to me, seems like a major issue. WTF are they even for then?
