Source.

Basically, they won't know until the last minute for sure, but all signs point to next week on Tuesday the 8th for the US and Wednesday the 9th for Europe.

Hope you've got everything you need, because the final confrontation with the Lich King is coming, ready or not.

In like...6 months if you include gating.

Yeah, I would say either next week or the one after. Not sure which one to hope for. I will be on a cruise from the 13th-18th so I won't be raiding if it comes out that week, but my guild is betting on the place lagging like crazy so it may not be a total loss. If it comes out next week and is unplayable (and then is playable the week after) then I will be a bit sad, but it's alright.

Oh, and lol GodOfMoo, true enough there. We may see Arthas by March.

cool. I'll focus more on getting my PvP set then.

Because the Conquest/Triumph emblems change in 3.3 right (aka, easier t9 getting)?

Also cool, I'll get to see some of the change, because I not sure if I'm renewing my time at the end of the month (going to start putting money aside for FFXIV).

I'm doing the opposite. I have 41 conquests right now, I think. My next item was gonna be my T8 chest.

I won't want to downgrade triumphs to grab it. But it's pointless to stop at 41 when 13 more gets me a decent upgrade (which means getting my triumphs and next tier emblems will be easier. If I can manage it, I'd like to get a shoulder/ring upgrade too. Or grab a good DpS sigil for threat/my damage spec.

That way, when 3.3 hits, I won't need to look backwards at all. Just plain upgrades without wasted emblems.

When 3.3 comes out and the emblems each get knocked down a peg, will I be able to turn Triumphs into Conquest into Valors into Heroism you think? As dumb as it sounds, I don't really *need* anything with the Triumphs I have. All I do is PvP and I have a lot of Furious Gladiator gear already on my main 80. I'd like to be able to downgrade the Triumphs I have into Heroism so I can get some more BoA gear for alts I'd like to level.

You already can, go see the currency changer gnome in the dalaran sewers inn.

Oh really? That's awesome, I went to the Triumph vendor assuming that was in since that's where you go for the others. I'm gonna go check this out right now.

Yeah, Blizz neglected to put one there. To exchange you have to head to the goblin next to the inn in the sewers.

I kinda wonder if that is because people can't sell them back within two hours. So, to prevent accidental clicking, they just put it in a different place.

At least, that's all I could come up with.

Well, I'm hoping it's not next week - that would mean I'd miss guild's first Icecrown raid.

Apparently like a lot of people, I have been having major issues downloading the 3.3 patch. Background Downloader shows up in Task Manager but never actually runs. Seems to be affecting a bunch of XP users from what I see. I had to do an end run to get the older downloader downloaded so I could get the torrent file and manually download it. Thankfully that worked for me. I am looking forward to 3.3, if for nothing more than the new 5-man content and stuff...

My kingdom for druid pants instead of the @#$%in dress we've had for God knows how long! >_<

As a plus point though, the biting shoulders look kewl.

I'm looking foward to checking out the Quel'delar questline, and the ashen verdict stuff too. It'll be good to get a weapon upgrade from 5 mans, even if it will become the new benchmark weapon anyway. I've done a lot of 25 ToC and even some hard modes but i've lost every roll on weapons.

Yeah, me too. I was looking forward to the patch coming out during winter break, but I suppose a week early is better than a week late. I'm already on a break from WoW to catch up on my work so I can pass my classes, so if I miss the first week of ICC, I'll live.

I don't see them releasing it next week. For one reason, they always release patches on the week when the server is supposed to have a rolling restart. That way they have a full maintenance day the week before and the week after the patch. I would bet on the 15th before the 8th.

I would think the 15th is too close to the Holidays for them to make sure everything is stable before their staff is reduced to a skeleton crew. With the problems we have seen with the last few content patches I would hate to see them muck it up right before I have some extra play time on my hands.

But, on the other hand, they don't want to release it over the holidays. And they don't want to wait for January.

Better to get it out now and have time to stabilize everything then do it later.

So what I do now, is get Crusader Orbs from your Triumph-badges and sell them!! Now you get some decent prices for them (350g on our server atm), but after next week patch I bet the prices will drop big time.

So if ya wanna make some good money, sell it now!

Also, check the mats for new Patterns for new gear. Prolly now the prices will be ok, but after next patch everyone wants to have them and prices will go skyhigh. So stock up before next patch for stuff you want, and sell all the crap you wont be needing anymore next patch :)

Made over 3000g last week by doing that weee

Triumph badges change... my server's already having issues with the "gear score =/= skill score" crap. I expect it to only get worse after the patch.

I don't know if it means anything, but Wowwiki also says 3.3 will be coming out on the 8th.
