If you're showering regularly and washing your beard when you wash your face, the limit should be the same as the number of meals between showers. So it can't be that bad.

That said, I wash my goatee every time I wash my face, which is usually after meals.

I was very drunk at that moment.

And luckily I don't need to shave that often to look more or less civilized. What irks me is that I was 24 when this picture was taken and still looked like I just turned 18. Now I'm one year older and not that much has changed.

Well, back when I was young and foolish (17ish) I got into several conversations with ladies over mIRC. This resulted in me getting nookie in the US, Canuckland, Germany and Sweden. At the time, I thought it was the best thing that ever happened to me. Looking back, from the vantage point of 33 years young, I am frankly amazed I'm didn't get murdered, abducted or a dose of the clap; 17yo, in his gap year, toddling off to the colonies- what can *possibly* go wrong? :)

So, I see the intrigue behind it- always an pleasant surprise to see the internet pics *did* match the lady in the flesh, and one wasn't meeting a Hippocrocodoggopig or a big bloke called Bubba...

As I have grown older and, dare I say it, wiser it's most certainly something I wouldn't countenance now. Quite apart from the fact that She Who Must would probably be a smidge miffed if I toddled off to America to make smiles with the locals. Not worth the aggro, I feel.

As for the photo thing, I'm not sure that the forums are entirely ready to have my broken-nosed, kicked-out teeth mugshot 'gracing' these pages. 15 years of playing rugby do wonders for one's physionigmy...

21 years of hockey and 15 years of lacrosse have seen me break my nose 6 different times. I've never broken anything else, but all I know is that breaking your nose hurts something ******* awful.

QFT... I broke my nose as a baby (ran from the 1st floor down the stairs in my baby stroller and ended up against the last pole of the stairs-railing nose first) and when i was 17 i had to get plastic surgery to reset the nose. They broke it three times to put it back normally .... lol. It was the funniest thing ever, they gave me a sedative and put me outside the coffee room waiting for my surgery. There were 3 nurses talking about having sex with the different doctors at the hospital and how they performed in bed etc. Me being 17 i was literally fighting to stay conscious to hear more of the stories. They probably laughed there asses off when they reeled me into the operating room all sedated with a bit of activity in the lower area ;)

Boxers nose ftw ;)

Unfortunately, (or fortunately), looking young can be a bad thing in the sense that there's creepy stalker people out there that are looking for jailbait but then the person they're stalking is in fact, older than they look. But it's a good thing because when you get older, you'll still look young.

The one that *really* tickled happened about 5 years ago.

I, as I said in my last post, played rugby when I was younger. I've always been a big bugger; 20 stones and 6'5" ( think that's about 260lbs in Yankee money). Well, I was the 'baby' of the pack; lightest by a good two stone, and shortest by about half an inch.

So, training session underway and I tackle our tight-head prop. So, 42 stones (580lbs) closing at full tilt. I broke 4 of his ribs and dislocated his shoulder. I end up with a crushed vertabrae, 3 prolapsed discs and a very nice ambulance crew who kept the morphine flowing quite freely :)

Moral of the story? Play tabletennis or pool- it's an awful lot safer:)

P.S I *was* 6'5"- thanks to the whole crushing thing I got shorter by an inch; as any man will tell you, losing an inch is not a good thing :)
