Bartender 3 and Druids (Problem)Follow

#1 Dec 14 2006 at 4:41 AM Rating: Decent
I have recently switched from NurfedUI to NemUI (since nurfedui does not work in Patch 2.0.1).
But I'm experiencing some troubles with the barmod that NemUI uses, Batender 3.

For one: When I swith into catform or dire bearform I still see the regular buttons (from Normal form), when I swith these with my feral buttons and go into normal form, I see the Feral buttons.

I can't find any solution, so I'm asking other druids who have the same addons installed (or just the bartender 3 mod.) for help.

Also, if you are using NemUI, could you tell me how to turn off the the bars in the middle, or at least how to move them? I'm referring to the small 100 of 100 (in green) and underneath it 0 of 5 (in yellow). And also the cooldown counter.

Thanks in advance.

Fellow Druid here. I am not familiar with Bartender, but I will comment on what I do use with my heavily modified UI.

I used to use Discord, but that is dead now. I now am using Trinity Buttons. It by default handles all the bar switching into any druid form. No messing around. Though laying out the bars can get tricky, especially when you crunch them together like I do... I've heard that Bartender and Bongos and some others are a bit better for really custom layouts, but Trinity Buttons gets the job done for me, and it just works.

I took this screenshot Tuesday after a Naxx raid. You can see my layout in caster form. It changes as I go to ToL, Cat, Bear, etc. It is still a work in progress, but I like it so far.

When you have Bartender running, you have 10 bars to pick from. Say you want to use 6 bars in total, of which 2 bars switch skills when going feral (The feral versions of bars count as seperate bars, so the total can't exceed 10).

You enable bars 1 to 6 and align them nicely on your screen. You do not enable bars 7 to 10.

Then for bar 1, check the properties. Somewhere in the menu, you can enable something in a submenu that also includes stances. Enable that. Then check all possible stances, you'll find that these are feral forms. Set the Bear stance bar to 7 and the Cat stance bar to 8. Set all the other stance bars to 1.

Now do the same for bar 2, setting the Bear stance bar to 9, the Cat stance bar to 10 and the other stance bars to 2.

Now get in humanoid form and fill in your skills, but be sure to put any skills you want to see in all shapes on bar 3 to 6. Skills you can't use/don't need to see you can put on bars 1 and 2, but it's not a problem if you set them on other bars.

Now take Bear Form, and voila, bars 1 and 2 should be empty again. Put your Bear skills in here. Now leave Bear Form, and your normal skills should be back. Do the same for Cat form.

have you tried /bar lock off? I seem to recall that this command will unlock the bars and allow you to move them around. /bar will give you a list of all the bar commands.

This was an issue with one of the versions, I ran into it too, but if you download a newer version it should be working again.
