We've been working a while on localizing the site into multiple languages. We're about 90% done. With BC coming out, I was thinking of announcing it even though it is not completely done. I'd love feedback from players who speak French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Korean or Japanese as to whether you think the current translation is useful as is, or needs further translation to be of any real use to you. Here's the new search link:

http://wow.allakhazam.com/search2.html

It can be localized too. For example the german version is:

http://wow.allakhazam.com/search2.html?&locale=deDE

A search in French would look like this:

http://wow.allakhazam.com/search2.html?q=dien&locale=frFR&source=live

If anyone here has an EU account, it would be really helpful to us if you could post a link to the localized version on the official forum for that language asking for feedback there. I tried to post, but it requires a local account. I'm also curious if there are sites with our type of database already in those languages.

Thanks.

If anyone wants a preview of localized profiles too:

First: very nice to offer a localization for the search function! I took a quick look at the german localization and most of it seems to be fine.

Something that I noticed:

You translated the "static" information (regarding the drop system) into "gewußt". First: that's a typo, it should be spelled "gewusst". Second: I think this term is a bit misleading, since it means "to know". If you want to use it with the meaning "known" then "bekannt" would be the correct translation.

I probably would stick to the original english term and would simply use the german translation "statisch" to indicate its meaning as static drop.

Also I would change the "Quested Belohnung" into "Quest Belohnung". Looks better.

Other wise great job!

French one seems good, I'm not fluent in it yet, but I could understand that all.
