*Rant*

Holy (Insert religous figure here), I had a 600 hundred person que yesterday (My birthday by the way!) and I think I broke out into a nervous twitch and lost it. I mean Holy Hell! I am used to 50 people ques but somehow 600 people said "look theres a server with a high population! lets join it to totally **** people off!"

I have heard of 1000 people ques before, but I have never experianced it. Just 600 makes me want to smash my head to my keyboard and hope I don't survive to see the number above 500.

No! I don't want to transfer! How bout you transfer! Smiley: bah

I came into the server while the server was recommanded. Smiley: banghead

ARRRGFH!

Sorry I am just steaming off, i take it out on the internet or the first person to try to **** me off, I hope they aren't stronger than me...

edit: shoulder does not equal server

Happy birthday. I'm guessing a queue wasn't a gift you wanted? Blizzard best get you something better next year.

PvP is popular.

Get ready for much longer queues when TBC actually comes out.

Yeah that would suck! I guess I'm lucky. I'm an Aussie on a US server. So I play when everyone is asleep. But I'm also in an all Aussie guild so I always have a group if needed. The longest queue I've ever had was 20 people :P

I noticed it too, Khadgar had a 100 person queue. I haven't been in queue for Khadgar since last year.

when was the 100? 2 hours ago it was 800 (although it dropped to 150 in like 2 minutes...)
#12 Dec 12 2006 at 7:39 PM Rating: Default
i posted about this on sun thinking it was just odd, but every day since i have seen nothing less then 15min que times (no matter what time of day i log in) and ques as high as 300 - 400 with 30min que times...

i think blizzard ****** the bird on this patch again... looks like things may be getting close to how they were a year ago before the 1.10 patch.

been in que for 25min with 8min to go...

If you think 600 is bad, wait two weeks for the day after Christmas.

Heh, indeed. It'll be December '04 all over again. Though hopefully not into the quadruple digits...

I guess a lot of people are playing again bc of the patch, i know i did and i know a couple of RL friends who started to play again to check everything out.
And people do have a lot of time on their hands with taking vacation days and not going anywhere and such.

Its either double or nothing.

For me, either, there is no queue, or there is 2000 person queue(yes, I usually get 2000 queue, even if its rare, still).

also, congratulations on the birthday! :)

ok with 2k que size i suppose i should not ***** to much about 300 - 500 que size with 20 - 30min wait times...

still not what i am paying for.

You should *****. Queues *only* happen after patches, and they go by in 5~ mins. So I guess you got it bad. :P

My server was high population a long time ago. I haven't seen a queue in at least a year, and I think the server's been downgraded to medium.

whisperwind here and i see ques just about every night and mainly on sun i am going to see a que no less then 20min.

since the patch i see ques no less then 30min 24/7. i have tried at 6am, i have tried at noon, 2pm, all kinds of odd hours and not less then 30min que times since patch... maybe a few 20s, but most of the time its roughly 30min wait times and it holds to that.

Yeah it is strange the fluctutations in server populations. Anetheron which I know a number of posters here play on albeit for the alliance has fluctauated quite a bit. In the last two nights it went from Low to Medium. However a lot of our horde guilds including mine have moved to other servers because and simply because the "grass is greener on the other side" so I know at least bloodscalp got an influx of ex-anetheron horde. I could understand moving between servers for RL friends...

edit: happy birthday as well!

I had never even seen a queue in the few months since I have joined until about 2 weeks ago. My main server Cenarius usually showed up as 'medium' whenever I looked but now it almost always is showing as 'high'. The queues so far haven't been too long (less than 200) except for last Sunday when they were up in the 500s because many servers went down.

I do have a character on another server so perhaps I will start some more alts there so I have things to do when I don't feel like waiting to get onto Cenarius during 'prime-time'.

I am hoping that they will add more servers when BC comes out.

Happy birthday!

Yeah, my character is on Cenarius as well. Been playing for about a years give or take and only in the last couple weeks have I EVER seen queues on that server. Was almost tempted just to 'accidentally' put a paper clip in my keyboard to get my character stuck running into a corner.

Hmm.. I'm actually looking forward to seeing more people log on.. since my server has such an uber low population.
