Last night one of my toons lost every item from their equipped, bags & bank apart from the cash & 3 or 4 items that had been either purchased, or received for turning in wool bandages.
I sent a ticket in, and got a bulk standard response which involved deleting Wtf, Interface & Cache files. Have done this, and of course nothing has been resolved.
I sent another ticket in and this time had no response at all, they read the ticket and binned it, a 3rd has gone in but no doubt it will not be read before the server closes down this am.
Has anyone else had this problem, if so how did you remedy it ? Blizzard as usual don't seem to give a hoot.

Are you sure it isn't a display bug? I'd advise removing your addons and wtf folder first as well, to see if the problem persists.
If it does, I'd start by changing my password, and checking with any siblings etc. that may have pulled a prank on you.
Losing one item by accident/bug isn't too uncommon, but if you weren't even near your bank, this more sounds like someone is pulling your finger.

It happened after I had put on the guild tabard and entered WSG. As you can imagine WSG is kinda dangerous when you have no armour or weapons !
I know nothing was sold, and I did remove the wtf, cache & interface files. Did that a few times. Same old outcome nothing changes
