[x] Ding 60 on my Pally

[x] Do some xmas shopping

As planned/anticipated/hoped... I levelled to 60 Saturday afternoon, turning in one of those blightcaller quests:

http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?wquest=6185

Which was good for 8300 XP and put me ~6000 into 61. :P

I immediately returned to IF for a toast. Spent a few gold on Bourbon stacks for guildies, and we ran around the Military Ward all wobbly and out of focus.

Then I hit the class trainer. This being my first 60, I wasnt prepared to spend 70g getting my 60 skills. Nor was I quite ready for the first stage of the Epic Mount quest. :o

So, yeah... the magic 8Ball says "Much Farming In Your Future." For me, the month leading up to TBC shapes up thus... Farm for my Pally. Get Warrior (33) & Hunter (38) to 40 at least. Get Druid (19) to 30 at least. And fill that Pally's log up with completed quests.

WoW- Tonight my guild is doing Onyxia and then pvp'ing together which should be fun. I hope the Giantstalker helm drops so that one of the hunters higher than me on dkp takes it so I'll be at the top again!

My alt priest has been neglected lately since my main joined a raiding guild so I'm hoping to burn through her rested experience which should get me from 49-50 easily.

I also need to continue farming gold for my epic mount. I really want to have this before the expansion comes out as it will help with travel time in the new Outlands zones. Been working on leveling mining up so we'll see how that goes. The priest is also an enchanter, so she may spend some time buying greens from the AH to dis-enchant as the prices on enchanting mats have gone up a lot since the patch. She should be able to make a nice profit doing that.

-Server decided to go down after we had wiped on Onyxia twice so we gave up. This caused our guild leadership to give us the weekend off of raiding as everyone seemed to be a little off due to lack of mods. Especially since our dps classes got a huge buff with the patch we need to get used to it to avoid pulling aggro from our poor tanks. This resulted in a lot of guild pvp this weekend, but I missed out on a lot of it due to studying. Got about 5k honor only so far.

-Priest got about 6 bars into 50, managed to finish all the good quests in Zul'Farrak and even got to stay shadow form the whole time as there was another priest in the group :) I still have enough rested to get to 51 though, so hopefully I can get through that sometime this week.

-I've sold every single enchanting mat I had in the bank and I think I only had a few low level shards expire. Prices have definitely gone up as supply is down. Not sure how long it will last though, as I already see more people selling. They must be leveling up their enchanting alts. However, I did manage over the last week to get enough money to buy the **** riding skill and I'm just 10g shy of being able to buy the mount. I'm thinking of just getting a pvp mount though as it looks like I've been raking in the marks a lot faster than honor.

Friday - Watched Pirates of the Carribean 2 and PvPed a bit.

Saturday - Poker party, took girlfriend to see Happy Feet(bleh). PvPed a bit.

Sunday - Finished up most of my Christmas shopping. Got one person left! Watched football. PvPed a bit.

I got about 8k total honor this weekend and it blows. I really wanted my shoulders by Sunday, but my busy life will not allow me to play as much as I would like.

My weekend went pretty well, I leveled my shaman to 50. Got the new shaman skill, let me just say i think its the best thing to ever happen to shamans. I love it and its bumped my healing abilites so far up the totem (teehee), that its pretty amazing.

Other than that, I didnt even log onto my hunter to spend its skill points. For some reason my computer has problems loading her, it freezes up every time i try.

But that doesnt matter, i dont have any love to play her anyways, but i might just to get a snake from wailing caverns as a pet.

So my day started out sucking terribly, honestly i didnt know how much worse life could get, THEN, my muffler fell off my car. It was so magical like i could see god spitting directly in my face.

Its a wonderful life.

Excellent weekend, all-in-all...

(big to-do list. try to do as much as possible)
- Raise alchemy/herbalism to 300/300 from 110/110
- Get exalted with Stormpike Guards and get my Don Julio's ring / Lobotomizer. Currently at 55% revered. Got about 9k rep to go...
- Farm as much honor and tokens as possible for my epic PvP set. Have 10k honor, and about 40AV/20AB/5WSG tokens. Got a long road ahead...
- Prep quests for further end-game instances (onyxia, etc).
- Run scholomance (only got ~20% done), BRD or strat
- Clean up my Alt character, whose mailbox is about 5-6 pages full of crap
- learn more about Rogue PvP from online, and in-game friends.

Finally hit exalted with Stormpike Guards and got my Lobotomizer & Don julio's Ring - my first epics ever. Also picked up Marshal's Leather Handgrips. One step closer to my epic PvP set, and the Grand Marshal's dirk (my next goal).

Ran with a PuG through BRD to get my MC attunement. The party was ok in that we worked well together, but it was just really, really slow because some of them would just say "brb wait for me" randomly (annoying). And we would get lost a lot. Also, I was so unlucky in the drop rolls (didn't get anything basically) while the warrior in our group got all the blue drops, and the mage (the mage and war were husband-wife) rolled 100 at least three times, and won gear many times in row on rolls. <-- that's me whining.

Was going to go back to BGs when I got an invite to a scholo party. I'd have to say that this had to be one of the best parties I've been in. We moved through scholo quickly and didn't waste time at all. And I was so much luckier here in that I won a roll for the Myrmidon's Signet, and the Shadowcraft Boots dropped from Rattlegore that my party let me need on. Best part is that it was also my first experience using Vent, and it worked pretty well (even on OS X).

Let's see ...

Real Life (TM) - Birthday get-together for my brother tomorrow afternoon and then something in the early evening. :P Makes planning on raiding tomorrow night iffy.

The birthday thing happened, but me crashing on my parents couch kinda nixed my participation in the other activities.

Other than that? Nada. Wife's out tonight helping a friend, so I'm free and clear there ... :D

Does getting a sinus infection (and the aggravation that goes with it) count as RL intruding?

In WoW - MC tonight (maybe some more Prophecy'll drop? Who knows.)
Yeah, 4 pieces of Prophecy (3 of which I didn't have and had the DKP to win) droped over the 2 nights.

After that get some more grinding on my mage. She's 47 and working on Timbermaw rep. So, spend some more time grinding Timbermaw rep this weekend. Level 49 and Neutral w/ progression towards Friendly is my goal there.

Okay, 48.5 (all of it not rested) was the level she left off at, but she did manage to make it to 25% of the way to Friendly. Killing Timbermaw with a Frost Mage is easy ... Even a doped up person can do it ... :)

Quote:
Saturday (after the RL events) - maybe make a late appearance in the later half of MC and join 'em with a trip to Ony. Last week Rags went down to 7%. This week - that big flaming pile of ... destruction should die.

I didn't make this one ... too sick and got back later than I had thought we would. They ended up downing Rags (for the first time) on Sunday.

Otherwise, I'm looking at getting my Warlock some progress towards 30 (so that he'll be my last alt to break 30). Also, played on my hunter (32) last night and was enjoying the changes to the hunter. I might spend some time messing with him this weekend. So many alts, so many choices.

He's at level 27, but he's managed to solo the entire Lt. Fangore quest in Redridge (including all those linked camps). I just LOVE the changes to the lock and their pets. The VW would've wilted a week ago. This time? No trouble. I think I had to resummon him once (and that was 'cause I sac'd him).

Quote:
That reminds me ... work some more on building up the new guild (Altoholics Anonymous). Mazra - you wanna join us on US Garona? I think you'd fit right in ... :D

Guild's moving along well. Recruiting's coming along nicely. Need some more higher level players, but we're getting there.
