Good morning, how's everyone today?

- Razelikh is dust, not once, not twice, but 3 times. I finished the quest, then a guildie logged in, then another guildie logged in... BM hunters are so powerful in PvE now, we didn't need a tank (the hunter is good at keeping aggro on his pet)
- No PvP, got too caught up in quests.
- Got back up to 100g from 4 :) That's all I did and it wasn't farming, but questing.
- Lots of questing. I'm running around the world doing new Blood Elf quests to gain Silvermoon City rep. Even grey quests give me 250 rep. But I also did blasted lands, Burning Steppes, and other zones.

RL: We finally got to doing that baptism, and the lunch afterwards was amazing. The baby girl is well and doesn't look like she knows why her bath was so short :)

So, a pretty nice weekend for me, how about you guys?

P.S.: Please one post per person here as well.

WoW: PVP a lot. i will get at least one peice of FM gear, I am aiming for 2-3.

FFXI: Get as may levels as possible on my new character. Probably get into the teens.

RL: Finals week coming up. Pretty sure I am failing Stats so final is gonna be meh. Start studying for my other finals next week.

I PVP'd quite a bit. I almost have enough onor saved to get two rank 12/13 peices. I got about 35AV, 32AB and 3WSG marks. So it is really just honor i am waiting for to trickle in.

FFXI: Level 13THF. Trying to get more but eh. WoW is competing.

RL: Stats final = no go. Got an optional econ final tomorrow. i will see how I feel for it.

No luck here. Smiley: frown

While I'm loving my damage, I'm thinking I need a respec. I can live without ice barrier. I can handle not having ice block. But to those, add a lack of Arctic reach and now I'm getting irritated.

Gotten a few K honor so far, gonna spend most of tonight on this.

Other highlights from this weekend:

1) I ran into a member of TFS in an AV this weekend. Hey TFS: I'M IN UR BATTLEGROUPZ, SAYING HI TO YOUR MAGES!!11 Smiley: grin

2) I was promoted to Officer this weekend. It's been kinda interesting thus far. Update: My wowsig now reflects the change. Smiley: grin

A basically wow-free weekend for me. Did manage to grind about 10k xp on my warlock.

Did drink lots of champangne and ate lots of good food in RL, so it was not a total loss ;)

I look at my goals, and then look at my weekend and think..."WTF?"
Quote:
--Level Intanj into the 50s (would love to hit 60, but I think that's stretching it.) She's at 83% into 49 right now
--PvP a bit on Dithers maybe.. /shrug
--Take down Hakkar, Bloodlord, and hopefully Jin'do tonight in ZG
--AQ? I think on Sunday (have to check raid planner, I forgot)
--Sell the damn Mature Blue Dragon Sinew I picked up in Winterspring the other night for 150ish. (Seems like most other hunters are like me, and don't think 2 more quiver slots are worth that much gold ><)

--Didn't touch her
--Didn't touch him
--Had 2 healers show up, didn't happen
--ZG on Sunday, up through Thekal down (server crash screwed us for about 45mins too)
--Sold the Sinew for 166g (post-AH fees)

What I *DID* do was WAY too much AB. Managed to gain about 16.8k honor (minus about 20-30 for combat pots) and should have picked up another 5-6 tonight. I have AB marks rotting in the mailbox tomorrow, so hopefully I got enough to pickup the BP. If not, I'll settle for the boots or shoulders (if I can get coins for ZG enchant).

Looks like I have my next month cut out for me though, between WL gear and HWL weapons...

(Also spent a lot of time cussing out the people who went from level 40greens to WL gear by sucking through BGs.)

Lastly, I ran into Jord in one of those ABs...I /waved, he /killed me :). (I'm not the greatest at PvP...but I can hold my own through sheer force of T1/2 gear vs the sluff)

My weekend was completely different (in terms of WoW) to intended. Friday we went to BWL, but it was horrendous...bugs, lag, meh. First attempt at Razorgore all the mods went nuts, we lagged, we died. We turned off mods for another attempt, but that time the event bugged and none of the eggs disappeared. We got him down on a shaky third time. Then Vael was just hopeless, again laggy and buggy, so we gave up.

On the plus side, Razorgore dropped double Stormrage, so I was happy. On the other hand, we cancelled all raids for the rest of the weekend (as did most other guilds on the server), so no Naxx on Saturday :(

Instead I PvPed. Lots. I've never done "hardcore" PvP before - just the occasional hour here and there - but on Saturday I did 14 hours solid, non-stop AB. It was great. Makes such a difference to go in guild/premade groups, especially as a healzor. Made some serious progress towards getting the PvP gear I want for BC.

Other than that, I took the mage on a couple of SM library + cath clears and netted around 70g from those, and made another 30g from mooncloth bags. On the downside, his water elemental is broken...the action bar only appeared two or three times :( I haven't yet submitted a ticket because a couple of other guild mages were having similar problems, so I assume it's a bug that will be fixed.

IRL we bought the Christmas tree yesterday, drank mulled wine, ate mince pies...that's about it.

I didn't post in the weekend goals thread as I was off work sick for pretty much all of last week. On the plus side, however, that did give me time to play my mage a fair bit. I finally got her to 40 on Thursday night and bought her mount! She's only my second character to get to this level so I'm pretty pleased, and runing round STV will be a lot less tiresome now.

I haven't touched WoW since Thusday night though. My other half decided to go camp at Asda all night to get a Wii, so we've been playing that all weekend. Twilight Princess is fantastic :)

We also bought and decorated our Christmas tree this weekend so the house is feeling quite cosy. Still not done any prezzie buying though!

I forgot what I posted as my goals, but I know I didn't achieve any of them due to stress from exams.

I did however get to try out some PvP on my newly respecced Shadow priest which was a blast. I was able to top one AB game in both HKs and KBs and was normally in the top five in those regards. But even better, I won more BGs than I lost, which was a pleasent change. And those which I lost were normally fairly close (We'd typically go over 1500 resources in AB). I'm looking forward to replacing my terrible robes (Robes of the Lich, level 39 lock robes...) with the first tier PvP robes tonight or tomorrow night (just need a few more tokens and about 1000 more honor).

Well I didn't end up working this weekend so I had more time for WoW.

WoW:

-Leveled Priest to 60.
-Ran MC on Mage w/o getting my helm to drop which could have completed my set.

RL:

-Did some Christmas shopping.

Real Life:

Worked. Hung at home. Ate some Pizza.

WoW:

Big weekend for my much-neglected main.

1) Now in place to start Jailbreak
2) Got UD Strat Key
3) Scored Gauntlets of Deftness off of Baron

During a server crash on Malygos (Loading screen would come up, finish, then throw you right to Character Selection again), the g/f and I created yet more alts (on Azshara this time... PvP-server here we come), got a Pally/Mage duo up to Level 9 in a couple hours.

YES! Naxx attunement has been achieved at revered and I am a quarter of the way to exalted. I would have gone the whole way to exalted (and probably still will) but I needed to get attuned to keep my place for our first Naxx raid on the 18th.

WoW:

Went from 57.5 to 58.75 by Sunday night. I plan on hitting 59.5 or so tonight and 60 tomorrow... unless I get into a good group and can just fly through 59 :rolls eyes:

I still haven't PvPd yet, but as most of you would probably do the same if you were this close to 60 on your first character.

RL:

Went shopping with the GF, bought her mom some Bailey's for Christmas, went shopping with my mom to the mall and returned a couple black-friday things as well.

Overall a pretty good weekend, just excited to hit 60, and immediately after my guild wants me to start raiding with them :O

I had plans to mountain bike this weekend but it all fell through due to household chores.

I joined my guild in BWL on Friday night - We cleared through Broodlord with no major problems. Vael gave us the usual wipe. For some reason, we do better when he's already up and active than on the first try. I collected the Pendant of the Fallen Dragon off Vael and my 3rd Trancendence piece, the boots off Broodlord.

On Saturday, we downed Gehennas and Garr in MC but we had too few people, and too many with poor FR to do the lava packs to continue forward.

I spent some time on my hunter alt, leveling in STV and Desolace.

Sunday, we returned to BWL, had our usual Firemaw first pull wipe, then did very well up to Chromaggus. We had incinerate and time lapse breaths, so it took I think a few attempts to get into a rhythm and have our decursers on top of their game. Chromie dropped the Pauldrons of Trancendence, but they went to a priest with much more DKP than myself. But that's good - he's got a 5/8 bonus now.

Our strategy on Nef Phase 1 doesn't look like it will work any longer (battle shout warriors w/ DPS on throne). Tonight, we'll do some attempts with a different strategy I guess.

I got my pally from level 56 to 57. That's really all I did that has visible results. The rest of the weekend was spent PvPing. In total, I earned enough honor for at least 1 field marshal piece of gear. Unfortunately that honor is spread out over 4 characters, so no one character actually has enough honor. Oh well. :)

In other news, only 5 weeks and 1 day until Burning Crusade, anyone else gettin excited? :)

Fun weekend in Wow.

Saturday morning I logged my Hunter to re spec and got a random tell asking if I'd like to help them finish Scholo. They were 4 rooms from the end and my BS helm finally dropped!!!

I was excited anyway.

Speced my mage to full ice and decided that sucks and promptly re speced to fire again. I need them big numbers I guess.

Also did two ZG raids with my Hunter that went horriable again but still a good time.

Got my Priest to 26 which is a far cry from the 30 I wanted but the mains need love too so she sat mostly.

Online, I got about 4 or 5 levels across various alts, getting level 20 on my warrior, 15 on my druid, and 12 on my priest. My mage didn't do much of anything though, missing out on both a jailbreak run and the server crashed after our Luci kill so that ended the MC run.

In RL, I made it to the WoW CCG tourney on Sunday, went 3-1 and took 5th place (adding to my growing collection of promotional cards; up to 8 now).

I spent the weekend playing my latest hunter. Saturday I did a lot of quests to clear out some of my log. Some quests required a lot more running around than their rewards warranted, but they were fun so what the heck. I also decided to level up all his weapon skills to at least 275. I spent most of Sunday killing undead in Western and Eastern Plaguelands to level up his weapon skills and his Argent Dawn reputation at the same time. He went from level 56 to a quarter of the way through 59. Normally I’d try to max out his skills once he hits 60, but with the expansion coming in about a month I think I’ll hold off on that for a while.

I think I got enough honor for my cape. I didn't log on this morning to check. But tonight I should have this. I also did some crafting and finished all the AB and AV quests, and I bought some food and water and arrows from the caverns of time for my ally hunter. I'm going to practice on him in the arena, and maybe get him a GM crossbow, just because.

RL, I went to that basketball game, and it was really fun. I still need to go Christmas shopping, but I did get my cat a present. I made him a toy mouse, and I stuffed it with catnip. He looked like he was going to tear it apart! The store-bought ones use spray-on catnip, and he loses interest in them about as fast as non-catnip toys. This thing he was still cuddling when I came downstairs in the morning.

It's really tempting to try to reach 40 with my Troll Warrior (38) though doing so would put me too far ahead of my boyfriend's Shaman again. Of course I could just push up to 40 and then do some mining/farming until he gets around to catching up.

I took her out a little bit on Sunday to pick up some recipes and a cookbook in Desolace for my alts. I fished a bit to try to get some blackmouth for my alchemist to make some more water breathing potions. I got killed by a wandering elite giant. :( So, not much closer to 40 but the potions will help on a few quests.

Quote:
Last night I was working on my NE Rogue (26) because she's becoming my new Alliance main and my boyfriend's NE Hunter (50) has been sending her some nice gear to grow into. He wants me to have a higher level Ally to run around with him though he knows I like Hordies better. :P I'll try to get her another level at least. I also need to get her back to WC because she got the WC fortune from the Darkmoon Faire.

I got her up to level 28 and picked up a bunch of new quests in Ashenvale from the revamped Forest Song area. I still need to get her into WC but now that she's 28 she shouldn't have any problems getting to the Darkmoon prize.

Quote:
I'll play some more on my Troll Rogue (19) on the other server. He's been so much fun to play with that I can't seem to let him save up any rest bonus.

He's 22 now. I ended up playing with him Sunday because of the long queues on my normal server. I ran into the server problems (like so many others) on his server but kept trying until I got back in since I didn't want him left stranded in the Barrens in a combat situation. Turns out the restart rolled back time a bit so I showed up quite a ways from where I got frozen out so I was in a relatively safer spot. :)

Quote:
I may try to spend some time with some other characters if the mood hits me. My Troll Mage has some nice gear waiting for her to get a level or two in her mailbox.

Yep, the Troll Mage got a bit of attention on Sunday. I paired up with my boyfriend's mage and got a couple of quests in Stonetalon done. We would have gotten more done but I was behind on a couple of quest chains so I told him I'd work on catching up. I did manage to get partly caught up playing last night and made it to level 25 before calling it a night.

Not exactly on weekend but managed to make 2 levels on Moiran in <Read the FAQ> Alla guild.

Got only 8.000 honor on main for HWL healing mace, because my disliking of pvp and BGs going down all the time, but hope I can get it 'till end of week.

Haven't done anything for uni, I always do everything under pressure at last moment.

Great weekend.

Went boarding saturday and had a blast, probably the best time i've ever had even though i still suck pretty bad.

PvPd on my hunter most of the day on Sunday until servers went crazy. I just want him to get the Lt helm since he still has the Horns of Eranikus which kinda blow goats. After that, which i should have today, I will be focusing on PvPing with my pally to try to get him the whole Blue PvP set before XPac so I can have some decent Retnoob stats.

Hockey sucked. Meh. Logged in Friday night after the game and my guild was downing Moam without me in AQ20. First kill. No room for me.
Saturday, my fiance was sick so we didn't go to the party. There was a hockey game, so we started watching that. It sucked, too, so I logged in before the raid started this time.
It was full again so...no raid for me. I was on the waiting list for 6 hours while they cleared AQ20 again and killed Moam again and made a few attempts on Ossirian.
Yes, I was not happy. I couldn't PvP because I had flown all the way down to Silithus to wait at the gates. Long ride.

WoW goals:
Get my addons sorted out and updated.

I still need a new version fo MobInfo with MobHealth to come out and a new version of Fishing Buddy.
I am still having the extremely low FPS and soft locks. I've tried every fix I have found short of reinstalling WoW. *sigh*

Quote:
So I guess that's another goal - get into another raid and see what else is broken.

No idea what exactly is broken. I did, however, get in on a raid Sunday night. We went back to AQ20 to make another attempt at Ossirian. I was taught how to do the crystal scouting on my nice fast raptor. Too bad the server decided to crash after our second wipe...

Quote:
Apart from that, I have no idea...

I got suckered into doing some PvPing over the weekend. The lag was horrible and made it almost unbearable.
I did, however, get into a couple winning AVs. I did a few semi-preform ABs with the guild, but we didn't fare so well against the tier3 preforms. Ick.

One of the most fun things we did was on Sunday before the raid, we created a gnome invasion on the server Zuluhed. A bunch of us made Ugly Female Gnome warlocks with 3 pink pigtails and sequential names (Gnomezero, Gnomethree, Gnomethreeve (don't ask), Gnomefour, Gnomefive...) and did the imp quest. I have to just say here...NERF WARLOCKS! I solo'd that quest at level one. In fact, at level 1 I was soloing level 4 mobs with barely a scratch on me BEFORE I even got my imp! Yeesh.
One guy created a dwarf paladin named Gnomesheperd and another created a Night Elf Warrior named Gnomeherder to keep us in line. We ended up creating a conga line of gnomes and imps, put our imps on aggressive, and slow walked from the starting area into the nearest town. It was hilarious. You may notice we were missing Gnomeone and Gnometwo...so did various onlookers who asked what happened to them. We all started responding with things like, "Gnomesheperd ate them!" or "We don't...talk about them" and all started /crying and /mourning as a group.
While we were on our walk, we occasionally did the Demon Skin wave and all popped Demon Skin sequentially (sometimes with a jump for emphasis).
We also would sometimes start randomly crying, calling for help, or asking for our mommies. Whenever we'd speak, one of our two non-gnome escorts would yell, "No talking in line!" or "I'M YOUR MOMMY NOW!" and slap us around a little. It was absolutely hilarious and we gathered quite a crowd. Once in town, it got even better as the Gnomeherder tried auctioning us off. We had a furbolg fall into line with us at one point and in the end, we all were led off to die in a fire (not sure what that fire pit is doing there, but eh). This prompted many members of the city not with the group to actually come over and mourn our passing. Some tried in vain to rescue us and call us out of the fire.

I haven't had that much fun in ages.

Oh yeah. Our imp names were the BEST. I had Chokin. Behind me, we had Rupnip (rubnip??) and Jakjub (I dunno, but that just sounds kinda kinky).

I didn't see hide nor hair of Ialaman all weekend. Shame, that.

-T.
