just made my first what should i spec? arcane, fire, or frost

Well if you spec frost you get a Water Elemental Minion which you can summon for 45sec to fight for you, cooldown 3mins. Not sure about the others or which direction to point you in. My bf decided to go fire spec for damage but hes only lvl 25.

Fire generally does more damage than frost for more mana. I like both talent trees, so it would depend on if you wanted to destroy (fire) or control (frost). I can't comment on Arcane as I haven't really explored it.

By the way, there are class-specific forums available. If you posted this in the mage forums you'd get responses from people more knowledgeable than me...
