I'm begging for addon help =/Follow

Until this patch I had a very simple mod that allowed me to hold down a mouse button to change my action bar and release it to go back to default. With a press of a button I was able to access twelve more abilities with my 1 through = hotkeys. Since 2.0 I have not been able to find anything that will let me do this in combat. This was the first mod I ever got and, honestly, the only one I feel I can't live without.

I did try the official UI and Macros forum first but for some reason when I log in I get a "no character available" message.

If anyone here knows how to help me that would be awesome. If not, please do me a huge favor and repost my question to the official UI forum.

Have you tried seeing if the mod you're using plans on updating for 2.0? If not, I don't know of a mod that does that, sorry Smiley: frown. Sounds kinna neat tho. I bet I'm not coordinated enough for that, haha!

You can just put the second set of abilities on another action bar and bind mousebutton+1,2,3, etc. to them.

If I use the default key bindings I have to manually switch back to my default action bar. The mod was really just a simple "if-then" script that was never updated after it's first release. With 2.0, however, it seems that "if-then" statements are banned in combat.

With the default macro interface, you can have buttons be one thing when you leftclick them and another thing when you rightclick them.

/cast [nobutton:2] spell1; spell2

Which will cast Spell2 if you have the RMB pressed and Spell1 if you don't. Also works with shift/ctrl/alt:

/cast [nomodifier:shift] spell1; spell2

Which will cast Spell2 if you have shift pressed and Spell1 if you don't. You can also instead get to interface options and enable the bottom right bar, assiging different hotkeys to that.

If-then statements aren't all banned in combat, only those that allow addons to think for you. Stuff like you having a modifierkey or mousebutton pressed are still acceptable, so addons that allow what you want are still possible. I however do not know of one that does that without completely overhauling your bars. I'm using Bartender myself, which allows for switching bars on pressing shift/ctrl/alt but not on LMB or RMB.
