Weekend GoalsFollow

Good morning!

This weekend is going to be hectic.

- I think we're going to try Razelikh the Defiler with a 4 man group... Rogue(combat daggers), Druid(resto), Hunter(no idea), Warrior(prot)... I know we don't stand a chance in hell, since we're not even in full tier0, but what the hell, we'll give it a shot or 12.
- I want to start PvPing for honor and marks, so I'll see which weekend this is and camp there (AB and WSG take some time in queue, AV is instant)
- Lots of gold farming to do, I spent almost all my cash and I have to find some way to make more since the AH is very fickle now that no one can rely on Auctioneer.
- Some more questing on my Rogue, since now I have 5 more slots :)

So, tell me what you have planned for this weekend.

P.S.: Please one response per person.

During the weekend, I would like to level my druid from 51 to 53/54.
I would like to continue trying out my water elemental, and decide if I finally must seperate from the frost tree(been Frost since level 1).
Continue PvPing with my paladin. Finally switched to a retribution/protection build.
Figure out which talents I want my rogues to have.
Level my Hunter from 44 to 46 and keep trying out the beastmaster path, have always been marksmen.

Due to this patch, it has renewed my interest and I just don't know which class to play. That is the only downfall.

I have a few goals this weekend.

1)AQ20 on Friday - I'm looking forward to it as we have a massive increase in DPS to bring against Moam(I still want my offhand from there, despite having the AV book).

2)BWL on Saturday - Here's hoping we down Razorgore(and with all the damage we can do now couple with the HoT stacking, maybe even Vael).

3)MC on Sunday. This is gonna be the true test of my new build and all the changes made. I can't wait.

4)PvP - and lots of it. I want me a nice GM Mageblade.

5)I have a Silithus Combat quest in my log from forever ago I'm gonna get done.

6)I also plan to spend some time getting my mods how I like em.

RL:

1)Probably won't get to see my GF as she's on the last couple weeks of her training at her new job. So, not much planned for RL.

2)Get a new mouse. I broke my good one and am currently stuck using a very crappy old one.

Maybe a raid... we'll see.

Have finals next week so I can't spend too much time gaming.

No wow for me, I am afraid. I am going to visit to ex and son, so it should be a good weekend nonetheless.

I really don't have any. Go to the raid on sunday thats pretty much it. Other than that I'll either pvp with my warrior or level one of my alts a bit, depending on my mood.

christmas dinner at work tonight and doing the rest of my moving tomorrow. i just went by my new flat and the cable modem wasn't in the mail yet. i'll check again over lunch. omg, help!
at least if i can't get online over the weekend, i'll have company of heroes to hold me over.

if i do get onto wow, i want to:

- get my mods back to raiding order

- faff about with my builds. i'll only really know when i get to raid with my mage whether i'll stay deep fire or try arcane/fire, but i'll go out and kill some stuff to see how it goes and make some g

- farm thorium on rogue, retrain him to herbalism

1. In theory our first Naxx run is scheduled for tomorrow. It looks like we've just about got enough people attuned, but we'll see. If not it should be MC.

2. Farm gold. I need about 400 to get an epic mount for the druid, and I'm fed up of not having one.

3. Respec the mage...I think I'm going to go 10/0/41, but I'm also toying with the idea of 40/11/0. Because my mage is my farming character uber damage isn't really necessary, so an efficient/survivability frost build would probably be better...I think...

4. Decide how to respec my "lesser" alts. I'm thinking about leveling the warlock to 29 and keeping her as a non-twink BG character, so might want to change from the PvE affliction build she's currently working towards. The priest will probably have a pretty similar shadow build to her current one. No idea about the warrior (only level 28), haven't even looked at their new talents.

5. Lern2Play as a tree. I've still only had about 20 minutes online since the patch. I should probably join a PuG for something tomorrow to practice, rather than launch into Naxx without really knowing what I'm doing!

IRL:

1. Probably getting a Christmas tree on Sunday.

2. Clean.

3. Eat.

4. Sleep.

Frost tree if you purely farm on that character is the way to go. For PVP is is fun too. Not burst or heavy hitting, but can get people annoyed. I can frost nova 4 times in 10seconds. I love it.

Another weekend already? Dang it I'm stuck working it again.

So my goal this weekend will be to get my rogue to level 51. Right now I'm only 10% in. If I can pick up an ST group and get some upgraded drops, that would be a definite bonus for me. Stay tuned!

I won't be able to do much seeing as I'm now staring down the barrel of mid-terms, but here are some loose goals:

- Get into URBS to finish off my Devout set on my priest
- Hopefully get the next upgrade to Virtuous
- Get my rogue to 40 and get him mounted up

That is about all I have planned. No time for any raiding, sadly.

As for IRL? Well, I'll be outlining essays, organizing notes, and otherwise staying up til 6 in the morning trying to study.

Try to level up my shaman to 53 or higher.
Try to level up my human mage to 46 or higher.
Maybe farm some more Furbie or AD rep(rep seems to have changed...)

Hurray for Friday!

Tonight, I'll fix a scrumptuous dinner for myself and my S.O. Then, we'll sit down together and GAME. BWL scheduled - I'm confirmed, so far he is not, though. I believe the goal is to kill Razorgore, Vael, and Broodlord and leave the rest for Sunday.

Saturday, I plan to mountain bike with my mom and aunt. And maybe run MC (Luci and Maggie down already). I need to do some new clothes shopping because my jeans are, well, falling apart off me. And I can't have that when I go on vacation next week!

Sunday, we'll return to BWL and hopefully down Nef. I am pretty sure we can make it to Chromaggus, but how we'll deal with the loss of Decursive remains to be seen. I suspect it will not be a big issue. People are lamenting how their AQ40 farming guild now wipes at Luci -- it was quite the opposite for us. We DECIMATED MC up to Magmadar and got our first Skeram kill last night (which I wasn't able to attend, unforunately). So the patch has been good for our guild I believe.

The other overall goal this weekend is to finish tweaking my UI. I used to have ~30 addons, but as of last night the count was just 7.

It's a "Stay in the Big D" Weekend for me, so here's the Goals.

RL:

Work from 6AM-3PM on Saturday.
Try to stay awake in the face of sheer boredom of working a Saturday.

WoW:

Main - Various fun with a Post-Patch 60 Hunter. "Fun" of course means making thingsdie from long distance.

Alts - Maybe level a bit with my NE War. Or my Undead Rogue. Or my Orc Shaman. Or another of the plethora of Alts I have made over the year.

Contemplate Server Move for Rogue and Shaman from Aggramar to Malygos. (When one's reasons for joining a server decide to go crazy and shun you, why stay on the server?)

Everyone enjoy their weekend however they choose to do so. Smiley: smile

My vacation week went by too fast :(.

This weekend I hope to:
--Level Intanj into the 50s (would love to hit 60, but I think that's stretching it.) She's at 83% into 49 right now
--PvP a bit on Dithers maybe.. /shrug
--Take down Hakkar, Bloodlord, and hopefully Jin'do tonight in ZG
--AQ? I think on Sunday (have to check raid planner, I forgot)
--Sell the damn Mature Blue Dragon Sinew I picked up in Winterspring the other night for 150ish. (Seems like most other hunters are like me, and don't think 2 more quiver slots are worth that much gold ><)

I'm hoping to have my new ISP up and running by tonight, as I've only had chance to play with the new patch for all of an hour. If it's up, I'll be hitting 55 this weekend and hopefully start to hit Scholo this weekend.

Been kinda left out for the high level stuff as this is my first char.

Not sure what my goals are, but it will have some RL going on and probably not much WoW.

RL out of the way first here...
Friday night: Watch hockey game with family.
Saturday night: Company Xmas party. Lots of good food, I hope.

WoW goals:
Get my addons sorted out and updated. Since the patch, my guildies have been PvPing like mad so I told 'em to just go ahead and we'll start raiding again Monday. I figured that would give people plenty of time to get addons sorted out, get the PvPing out of their system, and give Blizz time to patch remaining bugs. But nooooo....
Last night my guildies decided they really wanted to raid and try their new specs out on mobs instead of their fellow players and we ran off to ZG. We had a new record on the bat boss and I think she went down in 30 seconds. Holy crap! I don't think we even had a bat wave.
Venoxis took almost a whole minute due to the delay from the "ranged only" half of the fight...but after that, we destroyed him quickly.
We were light on healing and Bloodlord left us bleeding and in pain, but we did take him out eventually. Decided we were done for the night after that.

ZG was actually quite painful for me, though. I was getting 3 to 7 fps in there and every few seconds, my screen would soft lock (freeze up, pause) and make a click noise like somebody opening a trade window. Several of my guildies had a similar problem. We tried with no addons. I ended up deleting my WTF folder (WTF?) and that seems to have helped a little bit...then a guildie found a thread detailing how Blizzard had screwed something up with a DB folder and the game was querying WoW's servers every time it saw a new skill/ability to find out what it was seeing. The patch apparently deleted a DB folder and then didn't recreate it...so you have to create it manually. Weird. I added that and seem to be back to normal...somewhat. We'll see next time I hop into a raid.

So I guess that's another goal - get into another raid and see what else is broken.

Apart from that, I have no idea...
I'm kind of lost at the moment. Rogues didn't get a whole lot to be excited about with the patch, so...yeah. *shrug*

-T.

I am going to PvP! Feels weird saying that, because I used to be one of those carebear noobs. ;)

I am about halfway to a new cape after playing AB last night, so I'm going to finish tonight hopefully. Saturday I'm going to a basketball game and Sunday, probably Christmas shopping online and a little more WoWing. If I get enough for the cape by then I will start working on a Don Julio's ring.

After raiding so long, this is a breath of fresh air. :) Nice change of pace, I can finally log off whenever I want, for real!

Looks like a heavy PvP session for as much of the weekend as I can manage. I want to get my hands on 2 of the Rank 14 Daggers asap. I know BC isn't long away, but I want to have had the full Epic PvP set before it hits.

Try to figure out why my latency went to 1000-2000 a week and a half ago.
