BRING BACK THE LFG CHANNEL!

Seriously, this new interface sucks harder than a Hoover.

Here I am, logged on my level 12 mage alt. I have a level 60 rogue that's looking out for his tier 0 shoulders that drop in Strat Scarlet, so as soon as a group starts for that instance, I want in.

I NOW HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING!

IT'S SO BLOODY OBVIOUS, WHY DIDN'T BLIZZARD THINK OF THIS? ARE THE RETARDS STUCK SO FAR UP THEIR OWN ASSES THAT THEY REALLY DON'T GIVE A FLYING **** ABOUT THEIR PAYING CUSTOMERS AT ALL ANY MORE?

The LFG channel worked. Yeah, you got the odd bit of spamming, but it generally lasted a couple of minutes at worst, and everyone would ignore the spammers. BUT AT LEAST YOU COULD GET A GROUP.

On top of that, they can't even keep their servers up for more than an hour at a time... TBC in January? You're having a laugh. AT OUR EXPENSE.

First people whined about how they hate the LFG spam and all the chit-chat in it and now this.

Costumer satisfaction is a utopia I guess.

Hmm only way I can help you is to use trade channel then. People won't like it either but that's the best shot you can have. (Considering that you don't have enough rank to talk on World Defense, but then again people would hate it more if you could).

Or get some friends and convince them?

Chill down first.

Personally, I don't see why they couldn't keep the lfg channel open and have the new system.

The Horde on Illidan have just created their own LFG channel called World.

Pretty sure it is only in Orgrimar though, I dont really know how the channel system works.

user channels span the world, by the by.

The only really bad thing about the new LFG system is that you can only look for groups for LEVEL-APPROPRIATE instances and zones! THAT is just stupid.

You sir, are an egocentric, ignorant fool.

Your point is valid. The amount of self-importance in your second, capped sentence displays so much ... Freud would blame your mom, and Piaget would blame a lack of stimulation during development. I'm not sure what Maslow would say.

On my server we still have our LFG channel, called lookingforgroup.

I'm sure a fair number of servers have players that have already re-joined the LookingForGroup channel, even though now it's a user channel instead of a server one. And why not?

Spread the word. Just because Blizz doesn't auto-join you to it doesn't mean you can't join it yourself and continue to use it. Maybe they'll take note and bring it back anyway!

if people bothered to read/trywith things instead of complaining about them then you would see there is a very easy way to accomplish what it is you are trying to do, using the tool that blizzard provided.

So in closing, L2UseTheLFGTool.

QFT.

Just do /Join lookingforgroup and then shout it in whatever is your most populated city. We got one running on my server and its feeling well. :P

I don't understand what everyone's problem with the LFG system is. I've found a number of groups for Dungeons without a hitch. The interface isn't even that complicated for crying out loud. Just be sure to uncheck 'auto-group' and 'auto-invite' features.

If everyone would start using this thing it would be awesome. But people are still too stupid/scared/stubborn/whatever to give the thing a try. I mean, people can actually tell who is and who isn't looking for a group now (assuming people would use it). No more randomly whispering 300 different tanks/priests to see if they wanna take the last essential spot in the group.

Oh well... maybe people will adapt...but I doubt it. They'll just cry until the Global LFG channel is brought back and then proceed to never use the LFG tool.

This is the same reason why us Americans were unable to switch over to the metric system in the 80s. :(
