Is there a beginners guide to add-on's?Follow

#1 Dec 06 2006 at 4:54 PM Rating: Decent
I've been looking through some of the posts for UI/Add-on's but I don't have any idea what half of them are for.

Is there a post about which one's are good for beginner level noobs, without all the super-duper engdame stuff I won't be using for many months?

My main is a 20 druid, and I have a 13 hunter and 18 rogue as alts if that helps.

You could look in the faq:

A Guide for Addons, by webbstock. The guide also contains a good list of add-ons and add-on sites.

Another good place is WoWwiki.

Just a note-
Most of the addons need to be updated to work with the latest patch, so this may take a week or two. For example there is another thread about how auctioneer will be out of commission for about 2 weeks while it is updated.

Sorry I read all of the first chapter, and then started scanning after that, missed it.
