Everyone is naked!Follow

Ok, now I don't have any of those weird mods that make people naked or anything so that ain't it. I signed on at 10:15 and looked around IF and thought that something just wasn't quite right, every single person with exception to the npc's were naked except for wearing tabards. Then my ms meter dropped down to zero, I tried to log and it wouldn't do squat; finally I got booted and haven't tried since.

Anyone else seeing hundreds of naked peoples in their areas or am I the only one who is suffering?

I haven't had a problem with skins so far, but it seems that a lot of people are having some sort of trouble with this patch. I'm not able to log out or exit the game without using a hard escape. My talent tree graphics wouldn't fill as I was reconfiguring it, and none of my buffs or spells would have any effect on anything (wasted a dang rune trying to port to Darnassus ><).
Hopefully they get this fixed by this weekend. I have a mount to farm for. ^^

Pshhh..That's nothing. In my server some idiots go around getting girls to go naked and dance at the Blue Recluse in SW. I went to see how many perverts came up and I was lagging like no tomorrow so I blinked outta there.

I read this and then went into AB. I saw 1 dwarf in there who was *ahem* without apparel. I thought it was the bug. But then when I 3 shot him at lvl 34 with my lock, I realized. He was just under a death wish.

Yeah this game seems really sensitive to older NIC's (Network Interface Card). I was using the onboard NIC on my Asus Mobo and it made the game cranky. I looked for new drivers for it but there were non newer than 2003.

Went and picked up a new PCI NIC, slapped it in, problem solved for ~ $20.

Yes... It was a druid. *laughs* Just realized that.

However, I just logged out. During which I could not log out, so... I got back up and ran around. Sure was dead.. not a soul in sight. Members of the guild having the same problem. No NPC's anywhere, so, if there's no NPC's in Stormwind... must not me any in Undercity either!

I was correct, though we had to use the sewers as the evevators are not working. Was fun to be the rulers of Undercity.^^ Aparently, the server went offline, however it did not remove players. As I found out from IM's with people from outside as we were inside.

And ofcourse with other servers offline during the time we were operational, it's always fun to see the other server populations desend on your own. Seeing such dead toons lying around with names such as Vaagina and whatnot.. /sigh

However, it is alot like Christmas is it not? So fun to play with some new toys.^^

With all the crap happening with this new patch, I start wondering, what is the point of trying out the Beta beforehand ?
