Well after downloading the patch, I attempted to log into my account, and a message claiming "unable to validate game version" popped up. I messed around with it, couldn't fix it, and then reinstalled WoW completely, and it still has the same messages. Any ideas?

I've received the same error after installing the patch. The only ideas I can come up with is either the files corupted while downloading or while they are fixing the authentication issues this is making the issue happen. Either way I'd suggest to anyone that see's this thread to not bother with reinstalling the game as the faq says to do so untill the dev team makes all the changes to the server.

Edit: Did some digging on the WoW Site forums....wasnt hard really...just took forever to get onto them bc of traffic.....here is the thread on this known issue.....its not the best news.
