If you open up WoW right now there is a breaking news saying that the maint will be extended to 5pm PST. I can't get on the WoW site atm to link from there or anything of course because it is being hammered, but yea if you just open WoW you'll see it.

It's the WoW gods telling me that I should be studying.

Judging by how slow every WoW site is loading for me, it's not just worldofwarcraft.com that's being hammered mercilessly by bored players.

I figured maintenance would be extended, that just means less time that we will deal with lag and the inevitable realm restarts once we can actually log in.

This is Azz Blitzer reporting live from ANN news.

Rescue crews are at an all time high in response as thousands of WoW players are being found in convulsions in front of their computers.

Hospitals are flooded with people who have tried plugging USB ports into their ears and even a few cases of hanging via keyboard cord has been reported.

Stick with the Allakhazam News Network for more as it happens.

ROFL, convulsions is just about it to. Man, as much as most of us probably new and extension was coming. We all still stayed near our pc constantly, checking the realm status to see if anything was up. I love you all.

I guess I don't need to feel so rushed to hurry home from work then? LoL

I just hope that WoW is up by 5 like they are now projecting.

I had it planned out that I would be playing wow now, not waiting more to study later. I guess I'll just study now, and play later. Le sigh.

On days like this the O boards are comic gold, the addicts have gone too long without their neccesary narcotic and they are going through withdrawls and melting down all over.

I"m just mad that my system decided it was time to get sick today - I was going to spend the day relaxing since it's one of my last before Christmas, what withh crazy holiday work schedules. Figured I'd nap, help my mom with her stuff (just home from knee replacement so I'm here helping her) and log in about nowish when I expected they'd be back up.

Looks like it might be time for another nap in hopes I can get better since I won't be getting a break for a long while, as my rare days off now are going to be playing more nursemaid to my mom. Sucks trying to work out a schedule of who can take care of her when all three of us (dad, sister, self) have jobs - someone's gotta take some time off or do some major juggling.

Guess I won't be building up that Honor for my mainhand and offhand caster stuff as quick as I'd like. ^^;

Yeah - nap time again.

Hmmmm....I forgot about that part. I'm glad there are mirror sites because the Blizz downloader is always super slow for me.

Oh well, I guess I can play some Kingdom of Loathing while waiting for the patch to download since I have been neglecting that game terribly since I started WoW.

my plans for the day are ruined, I was gonna go on a 6 hours PvP session so I could get started on getting GM(Grand Marshal)gear but now servers are down til 5 PST and the fact that I'm on EST makes it that much worse...guess I have to go play (gulps) console games....

I don't plan on playing on Tuesdays, I go grocery shopping or whatever. Like tosday,I put new shocks on my truck, cut and split a cord of firewood and now I'm watching Pirates of the Caribbean/deadman's chest. If I get to play tonight fine, if not; I know I won't die or go into convulsions because of it.

Yipes. My first post and I blow it by failing in simple addition. I'm terribly ashamed, but I blame it on the lack of brain space due to too much studying. Alas.
