Any other pvp servers seeing this?Follow

It seems that since the new patch draws nearer and nearer (and will possibly be tomorrow I have heard) Alliance raids upon lowbie Horde Cities has vastly increased. This could just be a spike of bored Alliances who have reactivated in preperations for Burning Crusades, and also could just be a bad week to be a lowbie Horde in Contested Territory. Either way I have wittnessed many more Skull to me leveled Alliances comeing in and wipeing a town. Although this also could mean that many Horde players are retaliating in the same sense, I donot denigh this, I just have not personally wittnised it myself is all.

So back to my point, I am on Maelstrom (40 Troll Shaman) and was just wandering if any other pvp servers noticed this spike, and would like to know what you think the reason is. I have had one good point of the fact that Dishonnorable Kills shall no longer be counted since the whoal honor system is being wiped.

Well on Ysera, we had a fun 2 hour long constant wipe of South Shore, and then they came back and wiped out the barrens with a puny 4 man party, and was quickly raped by some more 60's who needed some killing done

Well, I think it's about people being bored and deciding to have some fun wasting away their honor points which are going to be taken away anyways so, it's a perfect time to do that I'm afraid.

Oh yeah, in my Eu server most 60 are talking about rampaging this or that alliance city so I think it's a pretty well-spread action.

Yup we had raids massive and miniscule going on like crazy. Astranaar was especially targeted for rape (hee hee poor, repeatedly dead flight master) as was, no surprise, Orgrimmar and XRs. On our server the Allies were really trying hard to kill Thrall, bless their hearts. My friend and I ran to Teldrassil and held the newb's grand poobah hostage until someone gave us chocolate (no one did) and chopped down several of their walking trees (she a well-geared 60, I gave my moral support by stabbing their ankles, not much else you can do at 47) to see if they contained any cacao beans. (Yes, this was an RP server, how clever of you to guess!) Everyone was raiding everyone else's newb zones to beg for pvp, but in all the places I saw, only one 60 would show up and then some <10 lvl would pvp on the raiders (this is alliance and horde alike) at which time the youngster would disappear in a small puff of sprayed blood. Ah, youthful impulsiveness.

Although many were going for neutral and positive HK, some were doing DK runs just for the hell of it. It was like the end of the world, it was really fun both to observe and participate. I guess you could say the end of an era. Now you're going to have a lot more town griefing by enemies who will want to kill off quest givers and vendors because they CAN. Should be fun.

This is definitely the case on my server. I saw Thrall die for the first time in months a few days ago. I think with the new honor revamp, getting DK's became harmless for alot of people.
