NB Talent Point QuestionFollow

I've spent my talent points as I've received them and come to find out that wasn't the best idea. Can I reset my talents or am I stuck with them forever? If I can reset them how do I do it?

You can reset your talent points by visiting your class trainer and selecting "unlearn my talents" or something. I'm not quite sure on exact costs but I think its 1g the first time you do it, 5g second time......

I have a question on this as well.... Since I have heard a free respec is coming Tuesday as well (YAY!!!!), my question is this:

Can I respec all my characters or is it limited to just one? If it's all, do I just log in with each of them and then what???

I remember a free respec a few patches ago, but I only had one toon and don't quite remember the process.... Any tips would be mucho appreciated :)

You don't need to do anything special for the free respec, as soon as you log in your character will have all of their talent points to spend.

In the past, when Blizzard has done the class reviews, the members of that class have all talent points refunded. It's like they never spent a single talent point. All spells that you have because of talents are also gone. Since this is affecting ALL classes, every character is getting their talent points refunded.

Oh, joy. Another evening spent fighting the downloader and then respending 7 toons worth of talent points. And then retraining them all. :P

This'll be fun. Glad I don't have anything ELSE planned for tomorrow night.

So the respec is free. I don't mind spending the time on the alts to redo....

But I don't get the "spells from talents" portion... although if I re-read it, I think I get it... For instance if I go into the talent tree and get "Shadowburn" then I would have to respec that tree inorder to get that spell again.

Is that correct? Sorry in advance if this sounds like a silly question...

Yes, if you don't have talent points into abilities, you don't get the abilities.

If you don't have points put into shadowburn, then you don't get shadowburn.
