Swift Razzashi Raptor dropped for The Noob Squad!Follow

Hi there.
Some of you may have seen in the weekend summary thread that our guild was lucky enough to have the Swift Razzashi Raptor drop from Bloodlord Mandokir over the weekend.

I really wanted the kitty mount, but rolled on this anyway. What the heck, right?
I won with a 93/100.

I didn't have the money for the riding skill, but my guildies were nice enough to loan me the money to get the epic skill (I think it helped that I had offered to help them all out with their repair bills earlier). So that night, I was able to mount up on my first epic mount. It was pretty funny because as an Undead, I have to go to Brill to get the skill. I rode over there on my Undead Bonybutt horse while still under the effects of Yaaarrrr! from a savory deviate delight. The newbies were freaking out first of all at a "human" in their midst, and then doubly so when I mounted up on a giant green raptor! Our guild's Alpha Warrior happens to be a troll and he had his epic raptor out so we took my new ride out for a spin around Brill and then into the Undercity.

UC has some beautiful architecture and seemed the perfect location for a photoshoot. Here is one of the nicer shots. I'd like to put more up because Akuin (our trollish tank) and I got some nice pics together with our raptors so you can see the differences between the two.

I'm kinda sad that I got the raptor instead of the kitty, but I'm happy to have a unique epic mount. Well, I know it's not UNIQUE, but it's not every day you see an Undead riding around on a raptor...especially one with glowing eyes.

In other interesting news, I have a friend who is an Undead Warlock who rides an epic kodo. Talk about excessive! heh

I didn't have the epics from each race, but I was able to ride Mechanostriders, Rams and Horses pre-change. I'm about 10k rep short of being able to ride kitties too.

Grats, though in all honesty it's not nearly as cool on Horde side. :P

You guys already have raptor mounts. :)

I'm not exalted with every rep, though I am with like, 9 or so. I've also personally farmed every single piece of runecloth I turn in. I haven't bought any, nor have I mooched any.

I'm about halfway through revered with Argent Dawn, and Timbermaw Hold. I haven't done anything with the Thorium Brotherhood because I'm a miner/skinner, so there's not much point. :)

However, I am also about 26% of the way done with the grind for a Wintersaber mount, and I've also hit friendly with the Bloodsail Buccaneers, which should easily make up for the thorium brotherhood and the revered reputations. :)

I’m alliance and I still want the Tony the tiger mount. In my opinion it’s the nicest looking mount in game. Though I must admit that my female dwarf would look rather amusing atop an epic raptor mount. *smiles*

Those mounts have not dropped for my raid even once, and I've gotten 3 toons to exalted with Zandalar. Why not change your avatar to a shot of you on the raptor to celebrate?

It has that he-man vibe already. In my memory somehow battle-cat was always orange, i looked it up and turns out to be green hmz.
