I just love Un Goro crater. The scenery is the best in the game for me so far.
Even if the mobs are mean to me at times.

I love the various tar mobs. And the fire elementals there are nice too.

i'm a big fan of ungoro as well, has that whole "lost world" feel.

That and the giant dino's that still manage to sneak up on you.

I have to agree, this is a great spot! It's very Jurassic Park. I have very fond memories of both Un'Goro and Winterspring, the two zones that I think are the most beautiful. Un'Goro could use some work on the graveyard location though, but other than that it's a fun place.

I love the crater as well. Though the silent ninja devilsaurs tend to ruin my fun far too often. I think they know how much they annoy me and purposely seek me out.

I do wish Blizzard had done a better job of rewriting the quests there though. They added a flight path, but as far as I can tell they only changed the text of one quest giver. The others still act as though they are still cut off from civilization instead of standing ten yards from a flight path.

And of course I wish hunters could tame some of those beasts. *smiles*

I've gotten pretty sick of Un'goro, but once you finish the couple quests in Sorrow Hill, it's the best place to level 51-53.

Yet another reason I love having picked a hunter as my main.

Feign Death FTW!!

So far they have tried to kill me twice, and my Feign worked both times. I'm sure they'll get me eventually though.

They are indeed cunning beasts. You'll be happily killing a flower, and all of a sudden this T-Rex is biting your furry behind, somehow having crept up behind you despite its size.

Then you go to UG with the sole purpose of hunting them for leather...and they disappear. I spent so long roaming the places where I know they patrol, and they'd just vanished.

Ah well, gotta love 'em.

Un'Goro is a good spot for farming living essences, provided you can tolerate the massive amounts of bots. >.<

Now that you mention it, Ungoro was a nice place to level. The quests were pretty cool, especially the gorilla quest: reminded me of the movie Congo.

I just hated those elite dinosaurs that roamed the area. Bad enough to fight level 50s without a elite 50s joining the fight.

see... if 50ft T-Rex's can have stealth, why can't there be tauren rogues ;p

I personally love the crater, especially on my herb/mining mage. I have every rich thorium vein memorized, and pick up tons of Dreamfoil and Mountian Silversage. Easily some of the easiest farming in the game, other than mining/herbing in Winterspring, killing winterfall at random intervals.

Just those stupid T-Rexs.... but they do make cute sheeps ;p

My first time through there as a 51 I got ganked no less than six times on my way to the FP from Tanaris. I never finished a single quest there.
