Targeting seems okay now. (Seems to have been a new update last night).

HOWEVER...

The Profiles on the web here do not reflect new 2.0 changes. For instance:
- Quests are still listed a x/20 rather than x/25
- The new Rep bar for Exodar (and I would assume Horde has this same prob with Silvermoon) does not show. Not important now, but it will be when TBC hits.
- Not sure if talent trees are updated or not.

Here is the error that I get regularly and just checked last night but anytime I am in a group this will come up fairly regularly as long as you are in a raid or a group:

["message"] = "Wr2\\Wr2.lua:619: attempt to call a table value\nWr2\\Wr2.lua:619: in function `akz_AddLoc'\nWr2\\Wr2.lua:177: in function `WrFrame_OnEvent'\n<string>:\"WrFrame:OnEvent\":2: in function <[string \"WrFrame:OnEvent\"]:1>\n\n ---",
["type"] = "error",
["time"] = "2006/12/08 23:48:52",
["session"] = 63,
["counter"] = 41,

A new version is on the updater now that should fix the errors. Let me know if you see any other problems after updating.

I'll try the new version tomorrow.

The character profiles still do not reflect the 2.0 changes, however.

I have the latest version... (I think) no more than one day old.

Whenever I target a mob, I get an error box declaring an error in wr. I don't remember the error, but I can look it up (it is VERY consistant)

Only addons I am using atm: CT Mod/raid assist

Add/edit: deshuzz already mentioned the bug... and has the correct error message. (Missed his post the first time I skimmed the thread. Sorry for the dup)

I've got a small problem with WoWReader since the latest update of WoW.

When in Stormwind and after entering the little "dungeon" north of the "Mage Quarters" fighting enemies I get an error that says: "Interface\AddOns\Wr2\Wr2.lua:619: attempt to call a table value" and a button that says [OKAY].

To see image click here

I see now that I'm not the only one with this problem ;)

This should already be fixed. Make sure you restart WowReader so it can update the ui addon to the newest version.

I checked again by downloading the UI plugin from the manual upload page (http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/uplua.html), still no update. Any idea when the file will be replaced for those of us that would like to use it, but don't use Windows?

When I try uploading, I get a "Protocol error: 0" message and nothing uploads.

Any hints?

Table bug seems to finally be fixed. Yay! :)

However, profiles still do not reflect 2.0 changes. :( Any word on this?

I have 2 profiles waiting to be uploaded, but when I press the Upload button I get "Ther server closed the connection." I'm still ingame when I attempt to upload . . . could that be affecting it, or should I be able to upload while still logged in? I thought I read somewhere that was kosher . . . but with all the mod updates lately I've read a Lot of information and it's quite possible it got pureed in my brain. :)

[edit]

Answered my own question when I logged out of the game so figured I'd update here in case anyone else is curious . . . I was able to upload after completely logging out and profiles are up to date. Numbers on my inventory items are screwy looking, but otherwise everything else looks gtg.

Manual upload tool and ui files are now updated.

Further updates to profiles for the changes in 2.0 are still being worked on.

I get this error when trying to run WoW-reader :

Error downloading update: Error creating the Web Proxy specified in the 'system.net/defaultProxy' configuration section.

I am running Windows Vista Ultimate.

Any clues?

Darn bleeding edgers...

Anyway I have noticed that when I upload, then check my character profile, it is not always uploading my character as they were on logout. Sometimes it will show my character as they were 30-45 minutes before I logged out. How often does the lua grab data?

When I run Wowreader, uploader gets stuck at "downloading patch.xml."
#45 Dec 19 2006 at 1:31 AM Rating: Good
When I start WoW with the button on wowreader it starts up WoW 1.12???? And begins downloading the patch again. Im playing for ages 2.0 now.

There is a Laucher.exe & WoW.exe in the programfiles. both start up wow 2.0. when applied manualy, but as soon I map the location in WoWreader and start up WoW with the wowreader, frigging 1.12 lauches again.
I tried reinstalling wowreader but it didn't help, anybody got a clue?

You do not need to use the button, just start WoW with the executable file or the launcher and it works all the same.

Many programs do not work for Windows Vista right now. I had the Vista Ultimate installed on my machine and over half of programs caused the system to crash, so I went back to XP Pro =\ (until after Vista's official release anyways)

Thanks for the reply, but I found the problem. I have an old install (backup) on c: and my windows runs on D: now. Stupid me didn't saw it, that wow reader was starting the link on c: instead of D:

My stat's aren't presented correctly because WoW reader doens't display my [Tellurium Necklace of the Eagle] http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=12023

A bug?

This has been bugging me since WoW 2.0 went live, but only just got round to mentioning it. Ever since the big patch whenever I look in my backpacks I get extremely long strings of numbers over any stackable items.

For instance if I open my quiver, I have 16 stacks of "200:0:0:0:0" Jagged Arrows, instead of just "200" jagged arrows. This seems to happen with any stackable item, eg I also have "3:0:0:0:0" of Ice Cold Milk.

Don't think its relevant but I'm looking at this with Firefox 2.0.0.1 on Windows XP SP2.

I too, have noticed the not-quite up-to-date profile updates and the odd number strings. I am not sure if that is a problem on the program end or the website end.

Thank you

I am new to wow reader and its working (today being my first try).

As of the 23/12/06 I am also getting this error ! I have had other errors, but realised i began my testing while server work was in progress. No more mention of server work on site now...

The manual upload seemed to work, cannot create an icon as it calls a various "Software Errors" that occasionally allowed the next page to load. Finaly was able to create the icon.

Althouth this isnt really not my desired method anyhow..

Any help would be Greatly Apreciated. Do i need to open a port on my router maybe, other than those used by WOW itself that are already triggered ??

WowReader uploads should be working again now, after server maintenance. You'll need to exit & restart wowreader so it can update to the latest version before uploading.
