Question on accountsFollow

#1 Dec 02 2006 at 9:55 AM Rating: Decent
I have a question about making an account. My brother recently bought wow and it came with a free quest past my question is if i add the credit card # to the account when i make the quest account inorder to play after the 10 days do i also have to buy another game and then use that registration code. It makes sence to me that Blizzard obviously makes more money off the monthly fees then they do when people just buy the game but it wouldnt suprise me if i also had to buy the game in order to play full time.

Yes - Every account needs its own activation code - so you will need to buy a copy of the game to have your own account.

I believe the OP is speaking about the Free 10-Day Trial that comes with the game and game time cards.

If that is the case, Joeey, you should be given the option to upgrade your account after the trial period is up. I don't believe you'll need to actually buy another copy of the game... but I've been wrong before. :)

I believe that getting a key from Blizzard is more expensive right now than purchasing another copy of the game. A lot of stores have WoW at lowered prices because the expansion is coming out in a bit over a month. Shop around, and get the best deal.
