No, it's not. You just notice it more because they're pwning your face(which is a waste of twinks, imo).



Honestly, I'm willing to bet it was a group on Vent/TS. I've seen a Vent group completely slaughter a group that had 6 twinks in AB. The vent group had good gear and a few enchants, but were by no means twinked.

Fast games are also faster rep. A lot of groups are in it for the rep.

Finally, for me, I live for All Twink games. 10 v 10 or 15 v 15 twink games means both my opponents and teammates put some thought and work into their gear. It also means I'm not on a team with 8 x3's in half greys.

I'm all for lowbie rights to play in BGs and I won't give em crap about it, but they still **** me off.

When I started making more alts when I had a pair of 60s and needed time off from dungeons, I tried some low level PvP and learned to really hate twinks. Do people twink anything other than rogues, warriors, and more rogues?



My thoughts 100%.

However, I would likely make a twink if there was a way to join a twink-only queue.

Just for your information, the new Cross-Realm BGs have evened things out quite a bit. Sure, some battlegroups still experience some imbalance, but not too much. From what I have seen, both sides twink just as mercilessly. Thus, ruining the BGs for us ordinary people, who does not have a need to spam sinister strike and go "lolz! I pwnd that n00b!". Those of us who actually play by skill, really don't need your kind of horrid support. You are a disgrace for your faction.

Horde twinks! (Yes, I play horde myself at the moment, disregard the siggypic, as that character have now been pretty much retired). I have a message for you from your own lowbies. Go die in a fire, or if possible die by eating razor blades. You are just as bad as any Alliance twink, and should have your accounts deleted, and afterwards been completely banned from all MMORPGS completely. This will be my standpoint until the day twinks get their own Battlegrounds. Even though this of course, will reduce the number of twinks into pretty much nothingness, since the whole point is lost. They will no longer get to pwn people by pressing a single key.

I hazard to guess you are referring to the upcoming enchant caps?

If so, the answer is no. Blizzard reps have stated numerous times that the enchant caps are only for the BC enchants, and will not impact existing enchants. People with fiery/crusader/icy/etc will retains those enchants, and players will be able to continue to get and use them regardless of level, even after the expansion is released.


As for the OP:
Your feelings about this do not match those at Blizzard. They are implementing gear matching, but that is as far as it will go. Blizzard sees no problem with max-gearing all levels of characters and feel it is a valid part of the whole picture. You might not like it, but that won't change anything.

Whats a twink? Feel free to flame away b/c I admit my noobery.

A twink is a pathetic and childish person who cannot win in pvp under normal circumstances so creates a character (funded by their guild or a high level alt) and kits them out in the absolute best of everything, armour, weapons, enchants and twinkets (sorry couldn't help it) things they would not usually be able to have at their level. This makes them nearly impossible to kill if you are an equal level character unless you are also a twink or HUGELY more skilled.

They are the kind of petty people who need to slaughter people who can't effectively fight back in order to feel good about themselves... I hate them no matter what side they are on (I play characters on both sides). However as far as OP goes, like poldaran said I suspect the larger factor was that the team you were up against was organised, had a good plan of attack and were probably on vent. Skill/teamwork > Twinkage almost every time.

Twinks are fun. They let me test my skills. Even with mediocre gear, I usually lose to twink Rogue. But it shows what mistakes I did. And its just awesome, when you can beat twink Rogues with not-all green gear or whatever.

Just IMO.

I'm so sick of the way Horde players like to come in here and claim that Alliance is the only one who ganks/twinks etc. Seriously, get over it. I see Horde twinks all the time, you just don't notice it because you consider them to be "People with good gear", while people with good gear on Alliance are "twinks" in your mind.

Hey let's say you're in WSG, and you have decent gear at lvl 19. A rogue comes and two shots you (exagerrated a bit)because of his crusader and fiery weapon enchants (no exaggeration on the enchants). This is why so many people don't like twinks. Because they have access to incredible advantages just to win a battleground or farm some extra honor.
