Male Draenei look like DemonsFollow

I'm tired of everyone saying that Draenei are Demons and I'm tired of everyone saying they are nothing like Demons.

To the first group, they have Paladins, Priests, and are allied with Humans. That is not Demonic, and the lore does not make them out to be demons either. Stop lying.

To the second group, they do look like Demons. Take a good look at Kil'jaeden and tell me that he's not a red male Draenei. Stop lying.

Depends on which history you are going by. In Warcraft history you would be almost correct, but in WoW history, they never were Demons.

Old history: Draenei are peace-loving Draenor hippies who got slaughtered by Orcs and were warped and twisted by the powers of the Dark Portal.

New history: The "Draenei" as we now know them are actually an offshoot of the original Eredar race. The Eredar started dabbling in dark magicks, and the current Draenei broke away from them (think Highborne/Night Elf schism). The Eredar were corrupted by Sargeras (in the original history, they were actually already evil and released by Sargeras from a prison he put them in when he was still good), and became a mean Warlocky vampiric race. The Draenei found the Naaru and the Light, and thus become Paladins and Priests.

In conclusion, saying Draenei = demons is like saying Night Elves = Blood Elves. They share common ancestry, but the paths of the different races split a loooong time ago.

They are demons in both history god... there are Warcraft Dreinei in Un'Goro Crater! and the new Dreinei are better looking

Wow..this is horrible, the dranei arent demon, they were a race that lived on a planet, where they used to be known as Eredar. then some crazy evil **** came and told them he would give them great power..yatta yatta, but Kil'jaeden and Archimonde didnt know what would happen to them and they eventually became big horrible demons...but the few that didnt fled to a different peaceful planet. they called Draenor(renegade home or suttin like that) where they called themselves dranei(renegades) the lived on the planet with orcs, and allied themselfs with them for trading and such. Archimonde and Kil'Jaeden found them and corrupted the orc with fel energies making them the red fel orc...you kno them..and the orc and the dranei faught...about 80% of the dranei populus was killed and some of them were corrupted by the fel energies the orc were corrupted with making them change, there are 2 different kind the lost or the fallen or whatever....idk exactly ones that resemble their greater form and the ones with the huge theeth...and ugly ness,anyway they are the evil crazy ones...THE END

Hey, if they look like demons, that's great. If they really are demons, even better!

The whole Draenei race, including Kil'jaeden and Archimonde, before Sargeras became evil is called the Eredar. They were not demons. However, some Eredars studied and used warlock magic. These Eredar warlocks are one of the reasons Sargeras became evil.

When Sargeras became evil, he went to Kil'jaeden and Archimonde (2 of the 3 leaders of the Eredar) and promised them great power. The two leaders accepted and became very powerful. However, they also became gigantic demons and slaves to Sargeras' will. All those desired power was also turned into demons.

The Naarus came to Velen, the third Eredar leader, and told him that the remaining Eredars must leave their home if they want to live. Velen agreed and boarded a Naaru constructed ship and jumped from one dimension to another until they came to Draenor, the land of the orcs. They now call themselves Draenei which means "The Exiled" in Eredar language.

This is just to clear up some of your misunderstanding about the lore. The Draeneis never were demons. And about the Broken Ones and the Lost Ones, they became somewhat like demons when Ner'zul opened all the Dark Portals in Draenor.
