For some reason, I see that I have two profiles of the same character. I went to the "Your Characters" page and deleted it but still one remains on the site. How can I delete that one as well?

Either you or someone else uploaded the character from a different allakhazam account. You can either have the person responsible delete it, or send me a pm with the name of the character/server and I can take care of it.

I've been trying to track down this problem for a while, but I can't reproduce it myself. Are you running any sort of antivirus or firewall software that might be interfering with wowreader's networking? If so, try disabling them temporarily and seeing if that helps. Let me know if you have any luck.

I'm having the same experience as this person. Everything appears to be working fine, data shows as being uploaded, but when I click on Your Characters, it says characters are created by WoWReader and gives me a link to that page.

After installing yesterday, it showed quite a few updates, those were uploaded successfully, then I played the game after that, it showed that there were a few updates. Today it uploaded those, but again, no toons.

Log in again and double-check that the UI Addon portion is loading correctly by using the /wver command. If it is and it still wont upload your character, post back here and we can look into it further.

Yea, thats what I'm saying...I enter my alakhazam password and username and click save...enter game...exit...try to upload and it says incorrect password. When I look to see the password that I put in it shows about twenty stars...my password isn't that long.

Oh...I see...nevermind, disregard my statement

OK, I download WoW reader, and read the readme. It says to put it in a ''wow.exe'' folder, but I do not see a ''wow.exe'' folder anywhere. And, furthermore, I thought ''maybe they mean attach it to the launcher, wow.exe''...I tried. I then went through 7 hours of reinstalling the game, patches, and then another 1 getting all my addons again.

Am I missing something?

EXACTLY whats happening to me. In addition, when I try to launch WoW from WoWReader, it says something about my divx decoder...o.O

(I play the games, not the machines, so
I'm not very techy and have no clue what I'm doing)

Forgot to add...In the WoWReader screen, where it gives you the option to refresh and upload and such, in the middle where it says all the info, next to Lua Data under Old it says ''n/a'', that a problem?

I finally got around to updating my characters yesterday, all went well there. However, the problem I am currently having is that when I go to my characters on this site the show inventory does not work. If it was previously off - I cannot turn it on and vice versa. I can check the box to show/not show inventory, but it doesn't actually update. Turning it off will still show inventory for the characters that previously had it on. Something I need to do?

Edit: Did another update when I got home from work and it apparently functions, don't know why it wasn't liking me.

Hi,

I downloaded Wowreader at the weekend and it doesn't work!

First it come up with a little 'Updater' thing which says 'Downloading patch.xml...' and immediately afterwards brings up an untitled dialogue box which says 'Error downloading update: The remote server returned an error: (403) forbidden.' when I click on 'OK' it does it again, and again, and again, ad nauseum and I have to get rid of it via Task Manager.

I can't be sure since you didn't post your patch.log file, but I'm guessing you have an incorrect proxy setting.

Open internet options, and check the settings on the connection tab and under lan settings.

I think that WoWreader causes problems with lacd_client, so how do I remove WoWreader with all of it contents ?..
uninstall leaves to much.

Got it working by disabling my proxy settings... turns out they were still pointing to my old ISP and (surprise, surprise) my current ISP doesn't provide info on proxy servers. *sigh*

How do I put this on my Mac? When I download it, it gives me this wr-setup.exe thing. Is there a certain app I have to open it with?

Yesterday I deleted my character profile for Whiteheart(60 NE priest, Bladefist). It simply didn't update after trying several times to run WoW, close it and update my profile in wr. Wr said it had uploaded everything, no errors noted whatsoever...

Is there a way to restore this character, as when I perfom a search for 60 NE priest on Bladefist I don't even see Whiteheart appearing at all?
