Just ran the reader to upload my info. It went through all its normal specs up until the last info upload I got the "Unable to read data from the transportationconnection." error. Just to make sure, I click the upload button again, but this time it ran through its normal process completely with no error at the end.

I am getting a message "Unable to read data from the transport connection" when I try to upload.

I recently moved all my WoW files onto a new computer. When I continued to get this problem, I un-installed WR, deleted all related files I could find and re-installed WoW Reader, but this did not solve the problem.

When I start WoWReader I see, in the Waiting column: 7393 items, 148 quests, 2993 creatures. I do have profiles for a number of characters up on this site from previous uploads.

I see that others have mentioned this problem, but I did not see any helpful information about how to fix it.

We've been having some stability issues pop up with the upload server the past few days. We're working on fixing it, but there may still be some downtime where you'll get an error trying to upload. The only thing you can do for now is to wait a bit and try again. Hopefully the problem should be sorted out soon (if it's not already).
#408 Oct 04 2006 at 7:08 AM Rating: Decent
I have a possible NEW issue. Wowreader connects to the server, and uploads the data with no errors. The characters were displayed under my account, but aren't listed when performing a server search. The server I play on is SHADOW MOON and the server that is being listed in the data is SHADOWMOON.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I keep getting an error whenever trying to view my charaters saying "im not logged in"

I have logged in and out a couple of times using both IE and firefox with the same luck.

Any suggestions or is it possibly down for repair?

Same problem here... When I want to check my characters I get an error saying I have to log in, but I am logged in :s
#411 Oct 05 2006 at 4:11 AM Rating: Decent
The problem seemed to fix itself, working great now.
#412 Oct 05 2006 at 4:37 AM Rating: Decent
Actually I retract my previous statement... I found that if you refresh the page enough it will eventually list your characters...

I deleted all of my characters and used wowreader to reupload my character info however now its displaying a blank profile for the character it uploaded http://wow.allakhazam.com/profile.html?1970300

I'm not sure whats wrong...

Hopefully it will get fixed.

I've just noticed today that I've lost images to my character profiles for some reason. According to User Account, my account still in good standing as a subscriber.. was just curious if others were seeing the same thing.

I tried it from 2 different PC's at different IP's and also different characters.

http://wow.allakhazam.com/profile.html?61689

is an example of one that should have a background image displayed.

Hi~ I am getting "Unable to read data from transport connection" just like I saw someone else post they also had. However, the only reply I saw was to wait a bit and try again due to your servers instability then it worked for someone and not for others. Any idea when this is going to be fixed? Or if there is a fix and I should be downloading it and where?

#422 Oct 10 2006 at 9:47 PM Rating: Decent
After clicking upload, It tries to send the item list...

Then after a few seconds it times out and a pop-up appears stating: Unable to read data from the transport connection.

After clicking the OK button it says: Connection timed out.

(Note: this has been happening ever since the last WoW patch version for me.)

I sent an email, but haven't received a response yet. Please help?

I'm still getting the same time-out problem ... unlike some of the people, it doesn't appear how many times I click on upload or refresh, I end with the same results.

However, the LuaData line appears to upload 212 each time (adding cumulative to the uploaded column) and the waiting column always says 212 and n/a in the Old column.
