Has anyone found a game that has as much solo content as this one?
I came from Final Fantasy and loved the game till i hit lvl 40. The time wasted for looking for groups, finding idiots that made groups disband almost instantly, and the absense of any chance to solo play farther made me leave.
WoW filled many of my days off with blissfull gaming, still does! I am seeing blizz turn this game away from soloing also though. I play on pve and general rule used to be that you got to lvl 40 then raided towns, got rank, it was fun.. Now you have to join a group and do instances... want decent gear?? join a group and do instances... New content?? we have added so many new instances...
Wow still has many great maps for solo play, esp if you just quit playing your lvl 60 and roll a new char.. find a new server and do it again... I do feel that blizz has gone to greed though? Seems that instances are cheaper for them to run so they make everything instances now..
If there are other gamers that enjoy a good 4 hours of solo play and know of diff games i can play?

You obviously haven't read the preview on the Silithus changes in the next patch, have you?
There are quests/events being put in specifically for solo play.
From the main site:
"The redesign of this zone includes high-end outdoor quest areas for solo players, 5-man groups and mini-raids. Silithus is loaded with repeatable quests and bosses, providing a more casual alternative to dungeon raiding. Will you uncover the secrets of Silithus?"

I personally think there should be a few more Lower instance that can be run by 3 or 4 players (Level 25-30 range). Since this would invite people soloing them alot for the loot there should be a level cap on them where if you were level 40 or above you could not enter.
For Higher end contant. They should make a few High end instances that are made for 3 or 4 players also. The drops should be toned down a bit to be a lesser grade then the Higher minimium 5 man instance (UBRS, LBRS, Scholo, and so on). Then set the instance to flag your char so you can only go in once every 24 hours. This would give higher level players with out the uber guild to still have some End Game fun.
But Yea WoW is the best solo/casual game around. I have not found another game that comes close.
SeomanP the Meaningless was simply telling you that there are other things Blizzard is doing to help keep the level 60 players that like to solo happy. There was no flame involved.

This is what I was replying to.
Blizz is doing a great job of making a game that appeals to all the different playstyles.
The only other MMO I've played that caters to a solo playstyle as much as WoW was Ultima Online.
