But disconnects are so much fun!! Like waiting in line at the DMV... but not quite as much fun as, say, bashing your head against a wall. Still pretty fun though.

some of the first servers like mine are getting an upgrade totaly new :-)
there so old and crappy and slow they cant handle the burning crusade

BLIZZARD sort it out..... Whenever they give you a time for the servers to be back up they are allways wrong. Fair enough we all know that they need to maintain the game, but why cant they never get it right when it comes to the times they give us for the servers to come back up?? Its not like they take longer to make sure theres no bugs cause there is a bug with nearly every patch they have released so far. Anyone who tells me to stop moaning can feel free to refund me if they want or shut the feck up.

agreed, and i see aerie peak and lightbringer up now, a lot of rp, and pvp, but ofc not dragonblight. bah, i better go get some landry dry since i ahve nothing better to do exept from waiting..

and just a last thing, if i hadnt dced a million times like i have the last two weeks on DB i wouldnt have complained on the looong maintenance. but when i hardlly can see anything better on how the server it self is working for the poeple there im sad. only thing that keeps me from leaving is great people.

hope blizz can by/get (dunno anything about comps) new servers soon or get moore space or whatever. just fix it^^

I was on for some time last night, and had fun doing well.... not much. I ran AV twice, doing the whole new cross-realm battleground "fun" thing. Was more of a bunch of people from 'Normal' servers ******** about RP server folk, then oddly, whining about people from PvP servers.

You'd think that in AV, of all the people, PvPers would be able to get it done. But, instead, we had a LOT of whining and moaning, and a lot of stomping by the Horde. Useless waste of two hours, imo.

Before I actually got into AV, we were having serious trouble with random DC's and server outages. That appears to have resolved. But another issue arose.

Instances were bugged or non-existant. My guild's planned ZG run was moved to the next day because of the bugs and server instabilities. As such, I was granted permission by guild officers to join another guild for ZG, as that particular instance was due to reset in a few hours anyways. When people attempted to enter the instance, it granted us THIS lovely message: Instance Not Found, and then saved us to the instance anyways.

I heard from others in my guild that the gate that opens in UBRS, after you defeat Rend, refused to open after Rend was slain. Another long, irritating instance run down the drain.

I know it's Tuesday, and I knew the server would go down. Doesn't mean I like it, and it doesn't mean I have something else to do while I wait.

Sure, I haven't slept yet, but unfortunately, I CAN'T sleep.... wired or something. >.<

So what is everyone doing while waiting for maintenance to end?

I'm on the server Doomhammer, and im having difficulties logging in even though it seems my server is not under any maintence. Everytime i type my account information in, it requests that i go through the server selection thing. Then I type in "United Stats" and "Normal" and a list should appear. But nothing is appearing. I've tried several different combinations along with restarting my computor. But still, nothing is popping up. What's wrong?

In this case, you can translate "Disconnected from Server" to "Login servers are down at the moment" - Or, you can just take Blizzard's own approach to every problem, and say that it is "Working as intended".
