Did they just ship the game it was at the end of OB or do you think they changed and added things?
They said you wouldn't need to download a patch for retail, so they changed nothing.

The gold master was created a few weeks back so the shipped game is less complete in a sense than the fully updated open beta client that many people have.
I'm thinking when we all log into the game on the 23rd blizz will have another minor balancing patch for download, or if not then not long after. Some sweaping changes were made to certain classes during the open beta and its clear that the fine tuning isn't completely done yet and some quest items and other things were not included in beta, I think for the purpose of keeping them somewhat secret before retail.
Bottom line: I guess we'll have to wait and see.

The way I understand it is they did not make any client side changes...we will be able to use the last client we were using in open beta. They did make some server-side changes...mainly to help reduce lag and accomodate larger numbers of players.
