Some people live on the midwest or east coast and have no way of getting the World of Warcraft Collectors Edition signed by all of the developers from World of Warcraft. So I am merely providing them with a way to get one without having to fly out here and wait 7 hours in a line for a chance to have the game signed. I personaly believe the BUY OUT price that I have set is fair for the service I am providing.
Besides if someone is willing to pay then this will help me pay for mine as well :-) otherwise if no one bids on it then I will just get the regular version signed by the developers and save myself $30

LOL sorry but you have to be at the Pre Release party to get the box signed by the the World of Warcraft Dev Team. and since they will have the servers up at 12:01 AM. Me and the winner of the bid will be able to play online long before anyone else wakes up :-)

You underestimate the abilities of the MMOG addict. You also assume that everyone sleeps at night...which is also wrong. Sorry, but saying that you will be "the first" to play "eight hours" ahead of everyone else is false advertisement, and I don't think this board is meant for any form of advertisement anyway.

and as to the person that the comment about my claim that the person who bids on the signed copy of World of Warcraft will be able to play upto 8 hours before most other people get online being false. I would also like to say to you that aside from the pre release party I do not know of any store that is selling the game at 12:00 Midnight, as most stores are not open at 12:00 midnight and dont open their doors untill about 8:00 AM. Therefor the majority of the players wont get on untill half an hour or so after 8:00 AM.
Many MANY stores are in fact selling WoW earlier than the street release, so while your at that release party, the people who got lucky are sitting waiting for servers to go live =P.

No, it's already been said many times by many people that various stores hvae broken the street date and have been selling copies since Friday.
I would estimate that ALOT more people then you probably think will be on at the same time the servers go up.
Beyond that MANY employee's that work at those stores and play games simply pull a copy for themselves, and then come back release day and punch the info into the register. I know a good amount of people that did the same thing working at movies stores when new Anime would come out.
Sadly most of them left the jobs for better paying ones. So it's waiting till 10am for GameStop to open for me.
