Could i be playing early?!Follow
I ordered my copy thought gamestop and they already shipped it(today is 11/21). I paid for overnight shipping and the ETA on the web site says 11/22. So does that mean I'll be playing tomorrow or will the servers not be up until 11/23?
No servers until the 23rd
Doh! Ah well at least i can install I guess to save time. Is there any offical word on when servers come up or is this all speculation?

I am guessing if the east coast servers come online at 12am on the 23rd, that would mean you could play at 9pm PST on the east coast servers on the 22nd?

Actually the store version is not the very latest client so it will auto-update itself when you first log in. Given the shear number of people that will be needing this I suspect it to take a bit.
OB people have a later client thus won't need to be updated (unless they found an issue between the end of OB and Tuesday.)

Actually if the servers go live at 12am (PST) we wont be able to play till 3am tues morning. Accrding to reps at bliz the servers are going live at 12am on tues but PST not EST

Gil the CD's are the most recent copy of the beta client. And even the beta people will haft to download a patch just because the retail servers are NOT the same as the beta ones.

No. They aren't. WoW "went gold"(began production of materials) far before the latest beta update, which would mean that it is not, in fact, the latest beta client.
