In the intro for the dwarves and humans it mentions that the normal soldiers are off fighting the hoard and its up to us to defend our cities bla bla.

I must have missed something (I have a feeling its from that darn bonus orc campaign I never played in w3 -slaps face-). Can any of you fill me in on whats going on?

Treaty between jaina and thrall has all but been destroyed. Thanks to jainas father, whos undying hatred for the horde led to his defeat on theramore.

The humans on the mainland still held their hatred for the horde and even though the late kings hopes to bring peace between them, after arthas killed him all those hopes pretty much deminished.

In game, WoW, it means:

There are some zones, those that are between different areas, where the alliance and horde both have a presence (town, fort, vendors). Other zones where only one faction has a presence (town, fort, vendors).

What this means is that's where the soldiers are. In the disputed areas.

Thanks for the info. So I guess theres all out war going on and the zone-based pvp area's would be treated as just little skirmishes in the overall story. Makes sense. Thanks again guys.

I loved the last mission of the bonus campaigns, was easy, but it was cool only having to worry about your heros and aiding the masses of your troops get through.
